Us too, only done 3, started cruising quite late so have only done 10 so far, love you cruise history and upcoming ones, it's what I dream of lol.

Richard and Steve from 'sunny' Wales here. We are doing the Westbound TA next year, wasn't sure as we did want to wait a year and do the Allure TA but hopefully will do them both, have been on Oasis before so really looking forward to the sea days though

Great review, we are sailing on her in september from quebec to NY, do you know if she has a diamond lounge?

Great review Trainman, got off the Vision 2 weeks ago so still nice to see all the pics, are the crew still friendly as a lot of them were getting on before the crossing on new contracts, we particularly liked chatting with Leonardo and Charlene who were greeters at the Windjammer, also, have you tried out the food at the Solarium cafe?, the Panini's are particularly nice and they cook them so well.

I would probably take a short cruise, we did a 5 day cruise on Adventure about 2 years ago from Malaga, the 8% at the time did not impact too greatly but I can see how a larger family on a longer cruise might be put off. With the european worries maybe spreading I wonder if this might cause the general price to fall though and it might even itself out.

Are the pastries still complimentary? On Oasis before it changed and was still the Mondo coffee bar they used to do lovely portions of cheesecake.

Has anyone read anything by Robert Rodi, I have a few of his books and they are always cool to read again.

Could someone please tell me where the internet cafe is? I have looked at the deck plans a few times and cannot seem to find it:p

 

 

They also seemed to have little rooms around the ship with internet stations, we were on deck 9 and there was an internet room just by the stairs at the front of the ship here, its well signposted, there were about 8 computers in there, hardly used, when i was in there i was the only one.

Forgot about it and only seen the last 10 mins although it seems as if he enjoyed himself

I enjoyed the show we kept looking out for any staff we knew and how did he get the bridge tour he is not even a gold member yet lol:rolleyes:;):D

 

 

and he didnt hand over his seapass when he picked up his embarkation drink :D

I noticed that someone said there's a number to call to make reservations once you are on the ship for the specialty dining restaurants? Would any of you past cruisers possibly have that number or has it been posted here somewhere? Thanks! Cruising in less than 2 weeks on the Oasis!

We came off the Oasis yesterday, think the number is 7000 once you are onboard, definately try the roast beef sandwiches in the park cafe, and the egg and bacon english muffins in the park at breakfast, they also do nice fruit pots to take away, on the boardwalk the bar at the end does nice corndogs and also chip and dip combos.

 

Hairspray is only shown 3 times, if you are a fan you can go in the standby queue before the performance and get it, we saw it twice and it was great. also, the two main performers from hairspray do a show in dazzles, its good but you need to get there early to get a seat as it gets really busy. hope you enjoy it, we loved every minute of it.

I remember watching this as an inroom programme aboard Freedom OTS, have you had a look on youtube, not sure if I read it on here but I heard that one of the RC anchor logos from Soveregins funnel is now on the back of the aquatheatre on Oasis - could be a myth tho.
