  1. We were 1130 checkin

    Got onboard about 1

We have 11:30 check in also for next month. How long did it take you to drop off luggage, pay, park then get inside to check in. We're trying to time it so that we can check in closer to 11:30 than 12:00 but at the same time don't want to get there too early and having to wait in the sun. Haven't cruised in five years and so excited.:D

  2. I'm trying to do online checkin for my kids room but I don't see the option to sign them up for kids club. Is this something I have to do once on the ship since there isn't an adult booked in the room? I booked myself and dh in balcony and kids in inside. All was fine. Went to online check in and it was switched to myself and kid in balcony and hubby and kid in inside but it was allowing to do kids club sign up. Called to have it switched back to as booked, adults in one room and kids in another. Went back to check in and the option to sign kids up for club is gone.

  3. I wouldn't trust this so called "friend". I wouldn't even put too much trust into her giving you the $1500 (until I had it in my hand). It's sad but that is why I don't have close friends. As soon as you think you find a good true friend then something happens to break the trust and/or friendship. I would never do anyone this way. Judge Judy came to my mind also. I wish you the best OP and please keep us posted.

  4. It's been 4 years since I have cruised or really taken time to study these boards. What are some of the things that has changed as of January 2012. I keep reading about The American Table. What is it and what is different on the menu. I know about your room getting serviced once a day now. What else should I be looking forward to or not be looking forward to. This will be my family's 7th cruise and we will be cruising in August. It will be a surprise graduation gift for my son. Thanks in advance for any replies.

  5. Even though this first scenerio took place in the airport on the way to our recent cruise, I think it's worth mentioning.

This is what DH told me immediately after it happeed. He had "to go" to the bathroom really bad. As he entered (in a hurry), he went into a stall and started "using" it. No one else what so ever was in there. All of a sudden, he starts to hear this "click" "clack" noise over and over again. Seconds later, he realizes..................................................he's in the Ladies Room:eek::eek::eek: "using" the bathroom. He somehow composes himself and walks out the stall and face not one, not two, but three women. Embarassed, he apologizes and explains. They just laugh/smile. He told me he noticed there were no urinals when he entered but he did not give it a second thought being that he was in a hurry. You should have seen the look on his face when he began to tell me.

Second, on our last day of the cruise there was myself and a gentleman waiting for an elevator. I had to go two floors down. This man obviously had a stroke and had no use or very little use of his right arm. We engage in small talk as "how was your cruise". The elevator opens and we get on. It's just the two of us. All of a sudden, he ask me if I could button his pants. WHAT!!!!!!!! I politely say no and thankfully the elevator door opens on my floor about two seconds later.

He had his belt buckled and that should have been good enough. I wasn't trying to be mean or anything but he could have at least asked a man or whomever he came on the cruise with. Now picture this...... YOU are waiting for a elevator, the door opens and what do you see. I'll tell you what you see, you see me buttoning up a mans pants who appears to be about 20 years older than me. Now what would you be thinking. Ooohhhh, I know what you would be thinking. You would be thinking "Oh boy, have I got a post for this thread":D.
