I'm a five star mariner, I've never had a problem with my credit card. When I booked my cruise online, I gave them my credit card information no problem. I just got a notice in my cabin saying that I had exceeded my credit limit and then I needed to go down and either bring cash or my credit card so I can continue using my signing privileges to enjoy all the services on board. I'm really disturbed, it's the same card I have always used and now they're putting a limit on me. They say I've had an excess of $500.07. I don't understand this at all they must be really in the money. It's always the same card number. I've always used. I've never had a problem. I pay it in full every month. I think they're financially in big trouble. That's just my thoughts. But it's strange. I've never had this happen before.

Last year i was on a Princess ship, had the flu, and was cared for by a great young doctor from Australia.

It's true - but if you already have your boarding pass and cked luggage outside, you can breeze in

You don't want to ride it onto the ship?
Ride it onto ship and ride it off when needed

The $5.00 social network does not get you outside the ship - it works within the ship only - if you pay for wifi the real wi-fi it will connect you to the outside world where you can use WA and FB

The $5.00 plan on Carnival is to chat between friends who are on ship with you.

Or you can use US$ and ask for US$ in exchange - does't hurt to ask.

All immigration has to be finished before anyone is let off ship - so your tour will start when ship is cleared

Not sure - but i used Carnival's shuttle FROM port to Airport / i had previously i paid for transfer but had no ticket - the rep at bus had list of names - i'm assuming your transfer will be the same. Just bring your receipt just in case.

When you go on line to register with HAL, they will require you to use the names on your passport. Just fill in the blanks.

Apologies up front if this question has been addressed, which I am sure it has. In March we are going on our first cruise. Does HAL require middle names on the boarding documents, if they are on your passport?

Now going from Carnival Magic to Carnival Sunshine was easy - you could have tossed a towel and made the transfer - no barriers

I think so - it really was walkable, just didn't want to run into a dead end and have to start over. 🤾🏿*♀️

I took a $10.00 taxi and it was worth every penny!

Some cruise lines, and probably all in future, are requiring non-refundable deposits to keep customers from booking cruises they don't intend on going.

They probably are a little closer and probably cheaper. I am Hilton brand loyal so either do the ES or Hilton Gas Lamp. Gas Lamp is always my first choice.
Gas Lamp is right across street from a Pandora food place and near a CVS - you need a taxi but nice place

It's 1/2 mile or 10 minute walk but no sidewalk. Taxi or walk it? Has anyone done it?
