Is that per person or whole cabin - it's tricky when they call with that offer and then you discover it for only half of the cabin. 🤡🤡🤡

Ive stayed at both places. Nothing wrong with Embassy Suites, it is like all the other ES’s. It is in the middle of nowhere but if you dont plan on going out it should be fine.

I’ve never had any problems in Fort Lauderdale. It’s usually 13 or $14, and I usually just let them have the $20 and go on my way. However it’s always good to ask that question because in some places in the world if you get into the taxi and say “take me” they might just do that!

I don’t care who captain is or name of cruise director - not important to me - just want a safe and healthy cruise. I’ve sailed many times and we’ve had friendly captains and one not so personal. Also good cruise directors and somebwho should find another line of work. Just go with the flow and chill out.

I've booked a pre-cruise stay for 1 night at Embassy Suites in Fort Lauderdale in November.

 

Just wondering if this hotel offers an airport shuttle? If so, how much and how would we go about booking it? Also wondering if they offer a cruise shuttle? And again, how much and how could we book it?

 

Would it be cheaper to just take a taxi or use the shuttles if they are available?? There are 3 people in my group so I am not sure how that would affect pricing on the shuttles.

The last time i stayed at Embassy Suites in Ft Lauderdale they offered a transfer for a low fee. You can also take a taxi for maybe about the same amount (less than $20.00). I'm assuming you are sailing out of Port Everglades. Hotel is per person vs taxi for all three. Dont book ahead, not necessary.

We are supposed to arrive on the 21st at the Hilton Doubletree Galleria.

 

We absolutely love this hotel & always stay there when we cruise out of Fort Lauderdale.

 

Latest info I have on them is that they may not reopen until the 24th.

 

I realize this is a horrible situation for them.

 

All we can do is keep checking everyday & see if there is a change. I am sure most other hotels are in the same situation so do not know if we will be able to find a last minute alternative.

 

We will be sailing on the Harmony & I am sure that will be fine as well as our flight from California.

 

Suggestions, anyone ?

I'd try to change my air to day of travel or night before & sleep on floor of airport if necessary

It might be warm when you dock in Key West but the wind might make it a but chilly. Take a sweat shirt or jacket and you will be ok.

NCL and Carnival has just cancelled some cruises out of Miami on 8 and 9 September. Offering 100% refund and future cruise credit. Check with your TA .

Best thing is to do laundry or send it out on next ship - dont sweat it - go with the flow - it won't break the bank.
