Please advise: I am currently booked on 7-DAY CRUISE ON NORWEGIAN BLISS June 15 - June 22 Alaska: Dawes Glacier, Juneau & Ketchikan from Seattle, Washington. Each month they add this itinerary (different dates) to the past guest offers.I.e. Double latitude points. Right now it’s up to the month of April. My final payment is due February 19. What do you think the likelihood of my dates being added? I really want double points.

I am thinking on playing a game of chicken. Last year I saw the cruise I want to go on price drop from $2,700 family balcony to $700 one month prior to debarkation. I am planning to do that this year as there are 3 cruises I am watching departing the first week of April 2023. Any and all opinions welcome. Should I play this game or should I just bit the bullet and pay the cost.

Is it better (or cheaper) to purchase your travel insurance independently (outside the cruise company) or directly with the cruise line?
