So happy to see Stanley again. Thanks for the pictures. We’ll be on the Royal to Mexico in January.

Looking forward to whatever you are able to post about your cruise. We board on the 19th just after you disembark.

I board 6/26/22 and it hasn't shipped. I know it always says that in the app but this time there's no record in Informeddelivery.usps.com (US mail website). Chat just told me to go to PSD once onboard to get a replacement. Is this new since my April 23, 2022 cruise? Has anyone boarded without a medallion?
Just got our medallions today for our June 19th cruise out of San Francisco.

Yeah, thanks for pointing that out. 🥹
It hasn’t been anything less than grueling to arrive at that decision. The high heart rate warning on my Apple Watch has become a multiple times daily occurrence. Bottom line: he wanted me to leave. I left.
I believe you made the right decision for you and your spouse. No one truly knows what is going on in another person’s life. No one has the right to pass judgement on someone else and their decisions. I speak from personal experience. Good luck to you both.

We were just in E725 on Ruby and heard no noise in room or hallway, however we did get some cigarette smoke smell from promenade deck below us.

I doubt it ...
Royal is not scheduled now until May 2, 2022 to restart
Thank you for the information

This is what I was told: We just made an unscheduled stop, aboard the Ruby, at Ensenada on the way back to San Francisco, to transfer 30'ish crew to the Royal. Recrewing to bring the Royal back online. — in Ensenada, Baja California.

We have a TA group of 100+ on the Ruby now, and no venues have been impacted. The TA has a hospitality desk away from public areas to hand out little daily gifts.

Is this PCR testing for people who have to fly home to other countries?
I assumed it was for passengers who have not had a booster shot. San Francisco has a new requirement for passengers to have a booster or be tested before disembarking. This is all so new that I’m uncertain if they will also test others who have to fly to another country. I will post again if I find out.

Learned today that the conference center deck 6 forward will be used for testing the last day of the cruise.

It was reported in the SF Chronicle effective 1/14 ~ Due to a recent surge in cases in the Bay Area and across the U.S. because of the omicron variant, the San Francisco Department of Public Health will require all ships to test all passengers who haven’t received a booster shot before docking at the port starting Friday, officials said.
Thanks for confirming. 😊

Now, back to the Ruby…..our room steward came by last night to check our booster shot status. It just took a minute for him to note the dates on his form. I believe San Francisco is requiring all passengers to have a booster shot or a negative test on board before disembarking.

I believe it’s because we have just over 1000 passengers on board.

These were ordered on the Grand Princess Oct 2021. It’s called the Princess arrangement and cost $39. We ordered them at the guest services desk. There was no list or price sheet to look at, but during the ‘before times’ I’ve ordered every type of flower arrangement Princess had so knew what they used to do. BTW this is a stunning Princess. arrangement and much bigger than the before times. Your experience might differ. As far as I know you can not order them in advance anymore. My CVP has not been able to help me get them in advance and the option online is gone. I’m not even certain all ships will accommodate. I plan on ordering some on January 6th when I board the Ruby though.
Oh I would love those flowers!

Wow! Welcome to cruising in the time of Covid. Sorry this has happened and hopefully the delay will be short.

Most of my issues with the app were minor until just recently. I have spent hours on the phone (literally hours). I have an up to date iPhone, app, data and I cruise tomorrow so don't have the luxury to wait until...
I am a planner, but that has nothing to do with the poorly designed app. I went from Green Lane to Blue Lane. I have tried everything to enter my credit card information to move me back to the Green Lane. Each day presents a different "reason". I deleted all of my credit card information and started again. Currently it has my (2) cards listed .... but still can't get into green lane.
Wow...just checked. Now my emergency airport is "wrong". It's in the bordering city. Go figure.
This is beyond frustrating. Surprises will never end.
Sadly, I don't even need to have a credit card on file because of OBC.
I was very happy going up to the counter to check in. But Princess wanted all of us to invest OUR time and energies into filling out a faulty app.
My emergency airport is just a few minutes from my house, and yet Princess insists (on the app) that it is not in the same area as my home address. Yes, I double checked my address as well as my husband's address to make sure they were correct. Never had this issue in the 34 Princess cruises we've taken before the app.

I wonder how they decide to whom to send the email. My dining times disappeared for my three booked cruises and I entered them again. Oh well I guess I’ll wait awhile and see what happens…..🤔

I am booked for October 31 and am wondering if Kaiser in Northern California will give me an appointment that far out and if Walgreens will give me one also.
We are booked for an October 31st cruise also. We're waiting until final payment date of September 1st while we keep checking the Princess FAQ's for updates. Then we will look into scheduling a test with Kaiser or somewhere else.....

I can't get into the DMW on any cruise. I'm hoping that our reservations for the next 2 are still in there.
My dine my way reservations for our October 2021 cruise have disappeared since the latest update, or I should say the message on the app says dine my way currently not available........

The Star Princess will be in San Francisco for the 2020 Alaska and fall coastal cruises, then the Ruby Princess begins its time in San Francisco with the October 24th Hawaii cruise.

Can anyone tell me when this will be available?
Thank you!
Can tell you that last year our copy was delivered around the middle of August.

If I might ask, do you know if E729 is on the opposite side of the ship on the Grand from the Fusion stage on deck 7? We've heard those cabins on the Emerald deck port side can be a little noisy when the music is playing, but relatively quiet on the starboard side?
E729 is on Starboard side above the Vista Lounge. The Port side is above the stage in the Vista Lounge.

Does anyone know if the sofa’s have been replaced during the March refurbishment ? We will be staying in E729 in March 2020.
We were on the Grand in E720 June/July this year. Our sofa was the same old worn out one we had last year in the same cabin. The lamps were new as were the two wall mounted tv's. The bathroom had a new tub, but the floor was the old, little blue/green tiles with dirty looking grout. The floor was constantly wet from a leak and we used 2 to 3 pool towels on the floor every day. Half way through the cruise we were relocated (to repair the leak) from 8:00am to 6:00pm to a Dolphin deck mini suite which had new sofa, new sliding door to balcony, and new flooring in the bathroom. I didn't get a look at any of the other minis on Emerald so not sure if they had new sofas.
