does anyone know if we'll go by the Statue of Liberty or under any bridges

As others have said, you can see the Statue from the ship before sailing.  I suggest you go forward and as far up as you can when going under the Verrazzano Bridge.  It looks like the ship only clears by a couple of feet.

The biggest drawback to the Island is the fitness center is in a windowless area at the stern of the ship on a lower deck.

It was clearly added to the ship long after she was built and fitness centers became increasingly important to some cruisers.

The fitness center is where the Universe Lounge used to be.  Similar to the Vista Lounge on other ships.

EZ check works for any flight leaving AFTER 10:30 AM and not a minute before (validated by experience).

Make that 11:30, and not 11:29.

  4. I purchased the Tuwejia Multiport Adapter and set it up as per the pictures in the following link on a recent Princess cruise.  My question is, "how do you switch the input to HDMI?"  I had tested the set up at home, but my TV was already set for HDMI, and it worked great.  Tried it on the ship, didn't work so great.  Actually, not at all.  Have no idea on how to switch input.

  5. Have never had a problem with a Value Trip reservation.  Don't be surprised if you don't hear anything from them for a week to 10 days.  Once you get their confirmation you deal directly with the hotel.  Meaning you can call them to check on your reservation, and you contact them to cancel. Your card is not charged until you stay.

Has anyone been able to figure out how to see all of the cruises they have booked on the new Princess app?

On my phone, I hit Profile in the lower right, and it comes right up.

What happens if next day you notice that out of the 20 drinks both me & the hubby consumed the day before, 17 have been allocated to his medallion and only 3 to mine?

It depends on which ship you are on.  It's happened to us a few of times, mostly the first day when bartenders are so busy.  They have removed the charges all but one time.  That time I had 16 charges, and my wife had three.  They told me to make sure to get both medallions charged next time.

    ·         A drop box at guest services.  I had three forms to turn in.  Each time I had to hand it to someone at the desk.  A drop box seems like a no brainer.  Shore Excursions, Future Cruise Sales and the Wake Show each have one.

    • ·         The principal enrichment speaker, after the third sea day.  Pat McCormack was lined up to speak on each of the five sea days but vanished after three lectures.

    • ·      Paper napkins.

    •           People were setting bags out hours before the crew begin removing them.

    •

Have seen a drop box at Guest Services on some ships.

The speaker (singer, entertainer, waiter, etc.) disappeared.  Can you say covid.

They are trying to do away with paper products.  They have a tendency to blow overboard.

We always run a pool to guess the earliest bag sighting the last day.  Earliest was 2:30.

How do I set up 2 tables of six next to each other for the entire cruise at the same table and time each night?

Make reservations for your party of 12 in the dining room of your choice, and the time of your choice.  The app will indicate something like "various tables", instead of "private table for 12".  The first night tell the Head Waiter your wishes for same tables and servers.  This usually will take care of your needs.  I would do this soon after the dining room opens.

About a year ago, we had a Head Waiter was not too cooperative for our party of eight, although we had the same table five of the seven nights.  The cruise before that we had a party of 14 and that Head Waiter went out his way to get us a table for six next to a table for eight for the whole week.  We also set some guidelines for seating.  You could not sit next to the same person as the night before, except for your significant other.   Also, change tables once in a while.
