Does anyone know if the minisuites on the Star (and soon to be released) Sun Princess have bathtubs? I know all older ships to have bathtubs in the minisuites; however, it looks like the Star and Sun do not. We book the mini-suites primarily for the bathtub. Can this be true?

I have used Stefano's RomeCabs 2 or 3 times from Rome to port and also from port to airport. They are always on time. Their vehicles are always clean and in wonderful shape. Te drivers are always friendly and very helpful. I thoroughly recommend them.

We just had "another" wonderful tour with Spain Day Tours. We have toured with them in the past. They took us for a half day tour around Lisbon, Portugal. We had two of the six people we were traveling with that had handicap issues and they took great care of them. It was a rainy day, but they made the most of it. The people that were traveling with my husband and I are still talking about how much they enjoyed it.

I didn't see it. We are actually right now in E730 for 28day South Pacific cruise I booked on opening day. I looked and you can still book this category on our B2B Carib Princess cruise in May 2024.
Unfortunately, i cannot book it and I love those mini's with the roofs.

I booked E731 on the Carib for May/June 2024. It's a b2b 14day followed by a 21day cruise. Had no problem booking both. I did book it on opening day of the offering.
Darn, can't figure out why we can't do it.

When itineraries are offered as individual bookings and a combined b2b booking Princess allocates certain cabins for each leg and legs of the cruise. The cabins that you refer to are being held for the individual 12 day and 14 day cruises. If you want one of these cabins for both legs you will have to book as two separate cruises AND try to have your bookings marked as no upgrade.
My past experience from booking many b2bs is that booking as separate cruises offers more flexibility and sometimes more OBC. Once on board your medallion will be valid for the entire 26 days, the account balances will carry over and you will have one final invoice on your disembarkation day.
Thanks for the idea, but also tried to book them separately and it will only let you get so far, then will not let you complete the booking. I have a cabin booked on Dolphin deck (in case all else fails).

Anyone have any idea why I cannot book one of the mini suites on deck 8 of the Caribbean Princess for a cruise in September 2024? My TA has gotten a number of excuses from Princess. They first told us they were being help for people with 3-4 passengers. That did not make sense since I tried to book it showing I had 4 people and it did not allow that to happen. We have gotten a bunch of excuses, but I think that may be just wha they are "excuses!" I love those minis in the back as they are the only minis with a roof over the top. Since the cruise is 18 months away, I am pretty sure they are not taken already.
This is a 26 day cruise mad up of a 14-day and a 12-day cruise. I tried to book them as two separate cruises and it looks like those cabins are available, but it won't let you continue.
Any thoughts?

Transportation is for 2 people with two checked bags and two rolling carry on bags. We both have Smartphones but have friends coming in later that do not have smart phones. Anyone know of any transportation companies I could book in advance?

Anyone have any recommendation for transportation from the LAX airport to the Double Tree Hotel at the San Pedro port.
Thanks in advance

Any other hotel criteria besides "walking distance to the seals"? Budget? Nice restaurants walkable?
I'd prefer the Columbus Motor Inn over any of the Fisherman's Wharf hotels, mostly because of its location adjacent to North Beach (SF's Little Italy) and the great dining options.
If I did choose Fisherman's Wharf it would be the Argonaut.
I honestly am not trying to see the seals, but could not think of what to call the area. I guess FIsherman's Wharf is the best name of the area. I am not looking for a budget hotel. I would like something nice and in a safe area to walk around during the day.

We are on a cruise leaving out of San Francisco and are looking for a nice hotel close to the piers. I would like to be within walking distance of the pier where the seals are located and other attractions. However, I want to make sue the hotel is in a safe area to be able to walk around during the day.

On a cruise out of San Francisco. Any recommendations for hotels close to the Piers but in a good neighborhood. I would like to be able to walk around the pier where the seals are located and other attractions, but want to make sure the neighborhood is safe, at least during the day.

Thank you everyone. I made a reservation with Blackberry Cars. I am really sad that Smiths for Airports stopped running. They were always my go to company. Hopefully Blackberry Cars will be equally as good. I do appreciate all your help.

Does any one have a suggestion for a private car transport from Heathrow Airport to Southampton. We have always used Smiths for Airports and just found out they closed as of December 2021. I have no idea of another one o use.

Just to let you know that I have been posting from Sky Princess for the past couple of days, with varied success. Sometimes it would download photos, sometimes they would disappear into the ether. I’ve had to download the last couple of posts several times as they appeared to be working but at the last minute they would disappear. To be honest I am amazed that the photos got posted at all, and it just shows how the internet on ships continues to improve.
So gad you made it home safe and sound. So sorry about you feeling so bad on the plane. I would love to read more of your reviews. I thoroughly enjoyed each one I have read.

if you prefer to dine different times and places you can just turn up at your chosen restaurant and you just wait for a free table there were lots of people who hadnt booked their table in advance and you just line up and wait for your turn for a table
Thanks, that is good to know.

I am so very jealous of you being able to take a cruise. We are supposed to be on Regal out of Southampton for the trans-Atlantic back to Ft Lauderdale. My fingers are crossed that we will be able to take this cruise and it will not be cancelled. I can't wait to continue reading the end of the Hawaiian cruise as well as the review of your 3-day cruise.

Not sure if you will see this or not but just wanted to tell you I have read your review on the Norwegian Forjds that we "hope" to go to in June/July 2022. I enjoyed it so much I also ready Cuba and this one on the Med. I enjoyed them all immensely. Thank you so much. Are there any more of your reviews available?

Hi AF-1. Thanks for that information. That’s good news.
We have had our April Caribbean cruise on Crown changed to Emerald. That’s fine by us. It’’s a year younger and pretty much the same.
How are you and the family doing?
We had a February cruise on Crown also changed to Emerald.

Hi,
Just found this review and wanted you to know I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. I loved the detail. We are hoping to do a Norwegian Fjords cruise in 2022. I say hoping because we have had so many trips cancelled due to the pandemic.

Thank you so much. I'm glad you're enjoying my little review and photos. So maybe a Norway cruise may be on your horizon sometime in the future? 🚢
I am also reading it. We are (hopefully) doing a Norwegian Fjord cruise next summer and throughly enjoying your review and the beautiful photos. Thank you so much for sharing.

I agree! I wonder why they can't make dining reservations similar to shore excursions and allow you to use your OBC.
