My points are also blank. What a shame they have blown this announcement on so many different levels. And yes - each member used to receive a bag of laundry…..it was not per stateroom.
I am very frustrated with Azamara's management team. We are leaving on what will possibly be our last Azamara cruise in two weeks.

Even with the late departure, some of the ports require that once you check in and board the ship - you have to stay on the ship. This happened to us last year in Beijing. Also - even with the late deoartures, they typically have the life boat drill close to 5:00 pm.
-
On our Asia cruise it was in the Cabaret Lounge. It was the Steelers vs. Packers. Tons of food and Mimosas and Bloody Marys (it was 6:30 am on a Monday). It was way to large a turnout to be in the Casino bar.

I agree with wripro….your TA should call you back or you should find another TA. There is no problem calling Azamara directly and asking them for your cabin info. Yes, Azamara does monitor the boards and have made many changes based on our input.

You are right….but, it is there -just in a different section. You can find it under "My Azamara"….or - on the front page of the online check in section, there is a tab at the bottom to print your bag tags. If you click on that, your cabin number will be on the printable bag tag that pops up in a pdf file. I would not suggest printing it - they will have them available at the ship if you did not order them online.

We were on the Quest a few years ago sailing out of Hong Kong and we all woke up at 6:00 am to watch the Super Bowl. They had a great party for all that wanted to participate. The Cabaret Lounge was decorated in both team's colors. They also had a great breakfast buffet and the Officers were making Omletts.

My condolences to Bill's family. He will be missed by all.

I was very disappointed with the changes and how they were calculated. Because of Azamara's price-point, the points should be higher on Azamara versus Celebrity. A 2 week Balcony should be more points than an inside cabin for 2 weeks. We were given 2 points for that cruise. We were given only 2 points for a suite booked for 11 days on Azamara. They told be that if I booked the suite after the new program goes in place then I would get a lot more points. I don't understand why I get more points after the new program and was "penalized" in the conversion. When a program is developed - you have to compare apples to apples. The points earned on Celebrity should not be the same as you earn on Azamara. In most cases, the Azamara cruise prices are far more than doubled and the destinations are much more expensive to get to vs. Celebrity's.
Just my two cents.

We have filled out on every cruise comment card and post cruise survey that the piano needs to be moved back to Mosaic. It was always nice to sit in Mosaic after dinner and listen to music. We asked on several cruises about moving it back and they said that per Miami - it was not to be moved. The furniture in the casino/tv area is not comfortable - it is awkward sitting there when people are in the casino and when people are walking back and forth when a show is starting or ending. The move came when they decided to turn the tv area into a "pub" atmosphere. They removed some rows of slot machines and changed the furniture. Seriously.... a pub atmosphere?????
The piano is too loud for discoveries just in front of the dining room. It needs to go back to Mosaic.

When we first started sailing with Azamara, the CC get together was always the next day. About 1 1/2 years ago - things seemed to have changed and they moved the get together to the day you sail. What a shame that you have to make a choice of the CC Meet and Mingle and a beautiful sunset departure.
Not sure why they did this.

Azamara Journey
Cabin 7090, 7086, 7067, 7070, 7054
2011-2012
Normal Balcony
No issues and would choose any of these cabins again
Azamara Quest
Cabin 7059
2011
Normal Balcony
No issues and would choose this cabin again
Azamara Journey
Cabin 8069
2013
N2 Suite
Would not choose this cabin again. Too much noise late at night and starting again at 4:30 am. Sounded like heavy objects were constantly being dropped and rolling back and forth above us. I think we were underneath a kitchen/galley area of Windows Cafe.

I think you were on Majesty Cruise Lines and the ship was the Royal Majesty. It was owned by Dolphin Cruise lines. Loved the ship.... :). It was sold to NCL and became the Norwegian Majesty. I think it just went out of service this past year.
Hope this helps....it was not a ghost ship.

I loved the Azure Seas and the Emerald Seas. I was on the Azure one time but I was on the Emerald Seas 3 times. I still have a few pictures from the Emerald Seas - John, you probably took them! Great memories.....Were you on the ship when they had Gary Puckett and the Union Gap band on board?
-
Anyone remember or know where Tony Tsakiris is? He was on the DolphinIV, Sea Breeze, Ocean Breeze and Royal Majesty - from 1980 - 95. Finally lost touch when I moved one too many times for work. Would be great to kow if he is ok.
Thanks

Loved the Emerald Seas - still have my first hand written boarding pass and cabin card! A good friend of mine from school worked in the main office in the early 80's - so we used up all of our vacation time taking trips on The Emerald Seas or the Dolphin IV. Great ships, great crew and fond memories.
-
I went on the Dolphin (IV) in the early 80's and was hooked on cruising. I lived in Miami at the time, and I also used to standby for the last minute openings for $25.00 per day! Those were great times. Loved Royal Majesty - great food and a beautiful ship. It was sad what happened to the ship - lots of bad breaks.
-
The Dolphin was one of my first cruises and I loved it! (early 80's) Sailed on the Dolphin several times along with the Seabreeze, Oceanbreeze and Royal Majesty. The crew was fantastic - you got to know the other passengers and the food was great. Cruising has changed a lot over the years, and I have been on many cruises ......but, I still miss the old style cruising.
Over the years I met some of the same crew on the different ships and we kept in touch over the years. My job kept me traveling and I moved many times and finally lost touch with everyone.
Anyone out there know Tony Tsakiris - or where he is now?
Azamazing Evening in Cabo San Lucas
in Azamara
Posted
Greetings from the Quest. Last night was our Azamazing Evening in Cabo San Lucas. I attended a very successful Azamazing Evening in the Ukraine over the summer and was a little nervous about this one after reading some negative reviews of events that required tenders. It was a fantastic evening. Everything was perfect.......including the weather. The tender process was very well organized and as soon as we left the tenders, there were buses waiting for us. The entertainment was excellent and we were served delicious chocolate covered strawberries, chocolate truffles and savories. The wine was good and we had a fireworks display to cap off the evening. A nice surprise was Captain Jose meeting every bus as we arrived back in town. The staff put a lot of hard work into this event and their attention to detail paid off!
