Thank you for the review. I'm glad you enjoyed your time. We Will be on the ship in less than 2 weeks. It's nice to know if the retreat cabana area is closed, HA will refund your account. Did you have to ask?

One BAD thing about a Neptune suite that no one has yet mentioned:

Thanks, everyone. We got our assignment last night for our March 25 sailing.

We were a guarantee Neptune Suite on the Eurodam and very surprisingly got a good location on deck 7 near the lounge.

Nice news, don't know joe we ended up in such a good spot.

Good for you kakalina, and glad to see you are taking care of your self on this upcoming cruise. I think you will like this perk very much since it adds a special sense of intimacy to the cruise experience - small gatherings and special dining or cocktail events with fellow suites guests and officers.

 

Don't overlook the free dry cleaning, so if some of your special outfits need a freshening up, this is the time to do it. We saw a delivery cart go by with at least a half dozen mens suits coming back from the "laundry". Suspect someone filled their suitcase ahead of time just to take advantage of that perk.

 

I never go to the Lido buffet for breakfast or dinner when we have a Neptune suite, except when we want a leisurely Pinnacle breakfast - I like just grazing on the small bites that are always available. Also a the lounge is a good place to hang out while your cabin is getting done in the morning if there are no other activities you want to attend and want to give the cabin stewards some time to get this daily task done.

 

The first night there will be a champagne reception before dinner in the NL. We were so zonked from our red-eye flight (never again) we did not notice the invitation and missed it. So be sure to sort through all the envelopes that are waiting for you in your cabin after you arrive.

Hi Scott. After your Hop-on-hop-off tour, did you walk from port to the "most southern point" and to kermit's and the lighhouse? how far would you estmate the walk to be? How long was the wait to take a pic at the "southern point?" Also, did the tour bus not stop at those points? I am watching your videos for the 2nd time. 18 days till we sail!

Me too, jimmyatc. I come home from work everyday hoping to watch GoProCruiser's next video. DH and I along with another couple will be sailing on the Eurodam's March 25th Tropical Caribbean Cruise.

It's available for both iOS and Android, from their respective app stores. You download it and install it on your phone. You take pictures / scans of your passport bar codes and selfies. The app replaces the blue customs declaration form. There's a special line at Port Everglades as well as a couple dozen US international airports.
