  1. My husband and I got married ON his birthday! Our 1st cruise was our honeymoon, 15 years ago. We cruise every year for our anniversary/ slash his birthday. I always book the steakhouse for that night. He usually gets us a bottle of champagne, or we bring one onboard for just that night. Last year, we were in the port of San Juan on our date, so we had lunch and drinks at a nice rooftop restaurant. We do something special each year, but his favorite is the steakhouse.

  2. We are booked for the Sept 30, 202p repo cruise. We have a spa interior, deck 17. So excited! I think what type cabin you book is just personal preference. We never book a balcony, we love a cozy interior. But we do love the spa amenities, so that's our little splurge. We like the serenity deck, too, so I guess that's our way of getting away from the lido madness. But we enjoy the lido for movies, food, and people watching. Either way, suite, balcony, interior, etc, I bet we will all just love our 15 day cruise, I know I will.

  3. I think Matt is wonderful. Sailed with him twice, and we saw an entertaining, energetic, and extremely nice man. Watched him push a child around in his wheelchair so he could participate in the sail away dances, has helped us personally with our luggage, and led me by the hand to a front row seat in the theatre when I had knee problems.

  4. I have an artificial knee. Sometimes I get the pat down , sometimes not. The last time thru airport security, a very nice woman officer did it. She struck up a conversation with me concerning artificial knees. She said her mother had the surgery, and how she could tell I'm swollen. I was, and she said she messaged her mom's knees for her. Just saying, the agents aren't trying to embarrass you, they are just doing their job. It's a by product of a knee replacement, but I would rather get patted down every time than the misery I went thru with a bad knee.

  5. We took our son with autism when he was 9. He loved the kids club! They were wonderful with him. Let your dining room team know about his love for pbjs....they will make them and treat him wonderful. You can request a table for just your family if you're worried about that...message John Heald 3 days before your cruise. Have a wonderful time!

  6. I am just back from the Vista 8 day also. I was slightly disappointed in the ship. My main problem was the show lounge. Way too small and awkward seating. You had to go very early and wait a long time to hope to get a good seat. Also I agree with the kack of bar service, particularly on tge serenity deck. But my biggest issue was CHAIR HOGS! On every open deck, it was nearly impossible to get a lounge chair. Also, anytime dining was not a great experience. A table for 2 just meant you had a couple of inches between us and other diners. It was ok, just not ideal. On the plus side, we loved our spa cabin, and Matt Mitcham was an amazing cruise director. All in all, I will return to the Breeze class ships in the future.

  7. I just found this review and want to thank you for such an awesome job! I literally cheered when I read the post of you winning at bingo! Good things come to good people, congrats! Your family is lovely. Please thank your husband for his service ( I know, he loves his job, after 22 years and 8 to go), but he truly deserves all of our applause and gratitude. Thank you and your sons for your sacrifice, as well. My hubby is retired Airforce, and works at the VA medical center now. We appreciate you all so much, and no one deserves great vacations more than our servicemembers and their families do.! We sailed on the Breeze a month before you did, so I got to relive it all over again. Loved all the pics!
