Yes we are!!!!:D So very excited. We are Cat & Dave from small-town Central Virginia, traveling with Cat's friend Betty from Canada.

 

We decided to do the AMA pre-cruise package in Prague, mainly for the idiot-proof aspect to it, LOL! ;) We fly out Saturday and hope to land without delay in Prague on Sunday. Look forward to meeting you either in Prague or on board the AmaSonata.

LOL! We are small town Virginia too. We are from Forest and board the Sonata on the 17th of December in Budapest. Small world!

Like you, we our doing our first river cruise in December on AmaSonata Budapest to Amsterdam. I enjoyed your comments and always appreciate an honest perspective. We have only been to Amsterdam once but enjoyed the city. We found it clean, easy to maneuver, and fun. But hey, I love New York City too! (No flaming please:D) We are spending several days there also after the cruise. If you think of anything else please post.... Thanks again!

We made our final payment today so really looking forward to our mid-December cruise on the AMASonata. Can't wait!!

Thanks to ALL who posted. We are doing AMASonata Christmas cruise in December (guess that is obvious ;)) and friends are on Viking next month. Will be fun to compare the two. Both first time river cruisers so we have no comparisons but both equally excited!

Not sailing on Viking but enjoying this so much! Wish I could find one as comprehensive about AmaWaterways!:D Doing our first river cruise in December so it is all new to us. Thank you again!

Thanks for the update. We were on the inaugural Amsterdam to Budapest trip May of last year on the AMAPrima and look forward to our Christmas cruise from Budapest to Amsterdam December 17 on the Sonata.

We are also booked on this cruise! Our first river cruise and really looking forward to it! See you on board!

We have had same problem (four weeks now)and have changed ISP, devices,computers, tablets and stood on our heads. For us it seems to be permanent. Can't access anything but "make a payment" which is a little ironic. But, they did manage to charge our credit card twice ! No problem as it was a partial payment but still aggrivating. We have lots of time till our cruise and can always call in with questions but still........

We booked one of these for the 12/21/2014, 14 day Solstice sailing out of Sydney. With the website acting so "wonderful" I can't check many things but I realize we have plenty of time. This package includes airfare from LAX. We had them add on Washington DC, (our home airport) to LAX. Being told by Group Bookings that our flight schedule wiill not be available until 75 days prior to sailing. Is this normal? We really would like to know our schedule for seat selection etc. ChoiceAir refered us to the group booking number. Wonder if I dropped the DC to LA if we would get out schedule LAX to Sydney?

Still can't get in after three weeks. "Under maintenance".......how about "OUTA SERVICE". Pitiful. No, I have no urgent need but makes me wonder if we have made a mistake with Celebrity. And yes, changed ISP, changed computers, changed operating system.

Still a mess for me. Hoping it does get better on the 10th.......this is getting old.

Have tried for 3 days to get into my reservation..........nothing works. New browser, three different computers, cell phone, nothing. Makes me think about going back to Princess.
