I was on the ship last week and I thought the ship was in great condition and the service was more than amazing. I did notice a handful of windows clouded over, but nothing that bothered me at all. Still an amazing ship in my opinion.

I have been there twice. The first time, we disembarked between 9:00 - 10:00 AM and were brought to the airport and waited for the charter plane to arrive with guests leaving on the ship that afternoon. We departed Baltra early afternoon and arrived back into Quito around 2:30 PM. The second time, there was a mechanical issue with the charter plane before it left Quito, so we did not disembark the ship until around 10:00 AM. Celebrity bussed us to a beautiful resort where we were served a wonderful lunch and had the opportunity to go on another "excursion" with the naturalists as well as time to use the pool. We did not arrive back into Quito until about 9:00 PM that evening. It sounded like delays with the charter flight are not unheard of, so I would not book a flight until very late evening out of Quito.

I believe this is Captain Wendy Williams. She left X to be captain of the Scarlet Lady, but has left Virgin Voyages as well.

Our first cruise was on Royal Caribbean's Song of America to the Mexican Riviera in 1993. We had such an amazing time. That was 74 cruises and definitely started my addiction.

I have done both the Inner and Outer on the Xpedition. They were both amazing, but I preferred the outer loop. Either way you can't go wrong. We didn't scuba dive, but the snorkeling was equally as good on both Inner and Outer.

We were just on the Summit and the sundeck was open for lunch every day except embarkation day. The menu is fairly limited, but the food was good and the service was phenomenal!!

We used our extra OBC to buy perfume and cologne for a few of the crew members that went above and beyond during our cruise.

We just did this cruise in October and the dress is very casual. Most of the guys wore jeans or shorts to dinner and women wore lightweight dresses. I did the cruise three years ago as well and most everyone on that trip dressed very casually as well. You will have a fantastic time!!

Certainly enjoyed the review, which brought back so many great memories. We did the inner loop in April 2014 and loved it so much we went back in October 2017 for the outter loop. Both trips were absolutely amazing and as mentioned the crew is truly awesome. I'm not sure when yet, but I know I will return to the Galapagos again and would most definitely book the Xpedition!!

I was recently in a forward facing celebrity suite (8104) and did not have any wind or noise concerns at all. A great room with great views!

I've gone on the Xpedition twice and both times the charter aircraft was an Avianca A319 with plenty of overhead storage.

Just got home Tuesday from the most amazing cruise on the Xpedition (our second cruise on this amazing ship). Both times, dinner was anytime you'd like. We went a little later and the food and service were great. We were on the 12:30 flight as well and the bus leaves the Marriott at 9:15 PM for the airport.

Unfortunately this is not just a Celebrity IT issue. We had the exact same thing happen to us on b2b cruises we booked direct with Princess last year. We ended up having to cancel the second segment of the b2b. I know it is frustrating and disappointing.
