Like most issues that become hot topics on here, the issue is the failure of the cruise line to enforce their own rules. It's one thing to struggle with the day to day, but this an issue they do not take seriously. It is not our job to manage each other.

It's been a few years since I sailed on her, but the one thing I do remember was that it took a while to get used to the deck plan. There was a lot of up and down to get places on decks just because of the retro-fitting. I would sail her again though. It was a lovely ship.

First let me say, I have not done NCL.

I've been on RCCL's Oasis and Allure several times each. I love both ships and the shows and spectacular. I prefer the smaller ships.

I am sailing with Carnival now. The prices are MUCH better and that is important to me!!

I am interested in getting the Cheers package and was wondering if it takes a long time to get a drink. Sometime the bartenders are slow and if I’m paying all that money I want to be able to get a drink when I want one.

I saw an add for NCL that said the drink package was included. My upcoming Carnival cruise where I am buying Cheers for us is still cheaper for me.

I agree with you! When I have priced cruises in a mock booking the NCL versus Carnival with cheers, Carnival is always cheaper.

This doesn't answer your question, but you can bring sodas on the ship from different ports.

We take pool noodles for the beach. I like to just hang on them in the water. The are very bendable and cheap enough that you can just heave then if you want.

Kudos are due to our school system!! They have the calendar out almost a year in advance.

I sailed on Pride last month. The ship doesn't get back into Baltimore until 9am. We arrived at the port about ll:30 and we are Platinum and we had to wait an hour to board.
