  1. This will be Derrell's and my second. Our first was last fall on the Oasis of the Seas post-refurbishment / dry dock in Rotterdam. I posted several pictures in my Oasis review (link in signature line below - the TA pics starts well into the review).

We met so many great people on this one so, therefore, weren't bored once. I would get a little cabin fever; Derrell would want to stay in the cabin. I just had to walk around the ship and would find someone to hang out with! Really hoping for the same on this journey - from the participants on this roll call, I'm optimistic!

We have had similar experiences no matter the size of the ship. Always a friendly face somewhere. We have even arranged to share dinner and even breakfast with other "family", tour together, shows. We are never bored, or alone on a TA, unless we want it that way .

  2. If you want to avoid arrest, don't strip or f)&$# on your balcony. In the case of those who were arrested, staying on the ship didn't help in Grand Cayman.

If you prefer not to financially support places that are homophobic, then you should avoid the Bahamas and Jamaica and Grand Cayman.

One other point. Port charges are revenues to the above Governments that encourage homophobia. If that is something you care about you may want to adjust your itinerary to "friendlier" places.

  3. Hello,

If you're on a cruise which stops at Key West, Cozumel AND Grand Cayman, would you get off the ship in Grand Cayman or remain onboard? Or, would you skip that itinerary all together?

    Thanks in advance.
