    My husband and I are on the MSC Seashore. We are getting off the ship tomorrow. Disembarkation has been delayed until 3:00 pm

    I’m a little worried, I just convinced my husband to bid on an upgrade for the yacht club……. We will be on the ship in December. This will be our 3rd MSC cruise. Having never experienced the yacht club, I had high hopes. I reallly hope that it gets better.

    We sail Dec.10, and we got the email just a few days ago.

    I tried calling, the agent said that I would need the actual email. I might try calling again tomorrow and see if I get a different answer.

    My DH tells me he’s looked to see if it can be accessed. But it is well and truly gone. I would think he was trying to save money, except he said he’d have liked to try the bid for the YC. Maybe I’ll get lucky and MSC will send another email. But I’m not holding my breath…..

    Thanks, I’ve looked at my booking and unfortunately don’t see anything. Hopefully, I’ll get another email.

    Does anyone know if there is any way to bid on an upgrade if your DH deleted the email from MSC? And he also emptied the “deleted” folder in our email………he’s nothing if not thorough.

    Thanks so much for all of the pics!! I absolutely love that you’re giving us a tour of the ship. I think I remember reading that on some ships the room steward swaps out items in the mini bar now instead of calling room service. Is that how you did it, or did you call room service?

    We’ve been dreaming of this cruise for a long time. Now that we’re retired, we can finally make it happen. So sorry that your’s was cancelled.

    All I can say is wow!!! That’s not what they gave me. Mine looked like an actual ice cream sandwich. Was it good?

    Hot chocolate with a shot of peppermint schnapps is also very yummy!!

    When I had it it was on the kid’s menu in the MDR. It was a regular dessert choice.
