Yes, you get a little hump balcony all to yourself! we have it booked for Thanksgiving on Independence as well. :D one silly thing is we can spot our cabin immediately

Its 1564 & the corresponding one but dont let out our secret, we loved it!! No direct sunlight though

can someone answer my question regarding wireless cabins? is it true and if yes...how does it work?

I can only speak for myself but on the last 3 RCCL cruises I've been on I haven't had any problems using my laptop in our room the whole time. Navigator, Sovereign & Liberty. You have to go to their internet cafe and get a user name & password and swipe your sea pass and then you are good to go. when you turn on the lap top it goes straight to one of those "hotel" pages where you have to sign in on their service with your user name / password but thats it. Its cool when you sign off because it shows a generic view from the back of the ship looking at the water...as if you were moving on I guess.

I just peaked at your link, soo sorry about your trip on Navigator. that was my first ship back to cruising for our 2nd honeymoon and we couldn't have had a better time.

Similar story, While we were on Liberty there were almost 1000 ladies from Brazil getting quincenieta (?) (spanish cultures 15 yr bday for girls) and I don't have to go into it but there were girls EVERYWHERE!! we didn't have a problem but other CC members were close to irrate with the situation. there were teenagers everywhere. Co-incidently we had a major mix up with second seating and wound up at the first seating (the CC group was all 2nd seating with them) and we always get a GS (because I like to be cozied up with my kids so I know what they are doing at all times) so we didn't even see them coming and going but almost eveyone complained! it seems like a simple curfew should be enforced and I had always assumed that we were liable for damages but that would have to be enforced as well.

that being said, I let my kids go back and forth to stuff by themselves, it is almost impossible not to. I'll let you know if my opinions change after our Navigator Spring Break cruise coming up:rolleyes:

Hi All! I love this thread because no one is active on the THANKSGIVING INDEPENDENCE thread at all! this will most likely be our last trip until Genesis but thats ok. Ken Rush was the CD on Liberty in Sept and he is as great as every one says. My son is 10 and Ken would visit Ocean Adventure everyday just to say hi to the kids!! I never would have imagined that the CD would be interested in what they were doing. keep posting and I'll keep chime-ing in!!

Elizanessie thank you for starting this thread! I only know of one super nice waiter from Johnny rockets that said he is transferring to Independence! but as it gets closer I'm sure we'll find out more. Our family is traveling 11/23/08 which I think is the first sail from US and there are hardly any posts on cc for that roll call:( but we'll see what happens.

We were just on Liberty in Sept and loved it! We had previously been on Navigator and everything was the same only bigger bigger and better! We were only disappointed that the sports bar we loved (on Navigator) had been replaced by the diamond members lounge but thats a different story! and also by the end of the week I was tired of walking soo much!
