  1. We were there in July, and did Rome with the private company-- Shore Excursion Group. The guide was excellent, she arranged our tickets for the coliseum and in the Vatican City to see St. Peter's Basilica. No wasted time, smaller group of 20+, learned and saw a lot. A little less $ than ship's for about same excursion.

    Taxi costs

We are planning to bring luggage to our hotel, as we are told they will lock it up until we can check in at 3:00. We hope to some sightseeing on our own-- hop on hop off bus, etc.

    Taxi costs

We will be arriving on Barcelona at 8:00 a.m. And will need to take a taxi to our hotel. We are staying near Las Ramblas. Anyone have an idea about $ in euros?
  4. Love the pictures! How do I change it to English?
  5. Fun to go to the back of deck 11 and 12 and out the door to a small quiet deck. No one has ever been there when we were there. We watch the Aqua show from up there-- interesting to see into the water and watch what is going on. Also relaxing place to go when they have music and water show presentations at the Aqua theatre.
  6. We were in 11224 last year on the Oasis and never heard a thing. We did face the ocean though. That one is located right next to the bigger suites. We enjoyed it so much are now booked in same room on the Allure.
  7. We had no trouble booking our shows. Mamma Mia is offered 3 times. We also booked a few speciality meals depending on our excursions. It is a lot of planning but well worth it.
