Your sea pass card is your room key right? I have only been on 1 cruise with RCL so not sure if the same for all ships. I got mine hole punched in the Kids Club when I took my kids & they gave me an extra lanyard to clip it too. Wore it same as the kids. Worked perfect.
I go to office store to buy cheap plastic ID holder to clip onto my lanyard, that way I don't have to worry about hole-punch.
I never carry purse around the ship. If I need something, I just go back to cabin to get it.

If I were on Ebola watch-list, self-monitoring list....
Would I get on a plane - NO.
Would I get on a bus - NO.
Would I go on a cruise - NO.
Common sense, people.
-
Ebola - over 300,000,000 population in US. 1 known case that was contracted in US.
So many other things are way more likely.

Steam from shower does good job on items that are just a little wrinkled.
Ship laundry service usually has a 'press only' service.

packing cubes? Never used them. Careful packing, planning and coordinating of what clothes to bring. Tops and bottoms can go with at least 2 items. So - mix-n-match.
14-day cruise, 2 days drive each way. Computer bag, back pack, purse, carry-on suitcase. And, I'm not a small person ;)

Yes. That's normally where we eat. [DS in wheelchair, so buffets are not convenient for us.]
I seem to remember less choice of onboard restaurants on port days.

We did Montmorency Falls and Quebec City tour. Falls were nice. DS stayed on bus at Quebec City, it didn't seem do-able to push him.
St John was nice, and Sydney, and Halifax were too..

Or.
Person #1 prints,
Person #2 puts in envelope,
Person #3 puts in mailroom,
Person #4 mails, etc....
And the date for 'mailing' is date #1.
[used to work in a big state-govt office. That's how things were often done.]

have dinner at Remy, problem solved. :)
OBC. That's how I plan to pay for Palo for 4 on upcoming cruise :)

... I think as long as you dont have a handle of Jack Daniels out by the pool and you mostly keep to yourself, no one is going to bother you.
Or do something else stupid like bring your bottle of vodka to the bar :) Just be discreet, and no problems.

one of my friends sent email to DCL.
They know about it, and their web folks are working on it. Itinerary has not changed.

I would choose option c if Disney is your main draw. A few days at Disney and then a cruise on another line for less money. This is a more economical option plus it avoids a lot of time in summer crowded parks, but it lets you get a taste of Mickey. I love Disney but I just think the cost of the cruises are ridiculous. Plus kids love the rides so I bet your kids will rather do the parks.
I like that idea. Nothing wrong with cruising another line. Especially, if it's worked around visiting WDW.
As long as expectations are managed.

Cruise food is cruise food. Kind of bland, meh. Not bad, just OK.
Culinary gems on cruiselines - very rare. I know I don't cruise for the fine dining.

Great for your body shape, but when I was 15 and in great shape I couldn't wear "junior" sizes because they're quite narrow and I have an hourglass shape. Try being 15 with H cups, a teeny waist, and actual hips & thighs.......
And being hit on by guys you don't even know, because they assume if you're amply endowed, you're also easy. DD at 15, H must have been worse.

Have 2 TAs.
One knows Disney. Is fantastic about Disney. But not so great about non-Disney.
So - other one handles non-Disney stuff. Met her first as non-TA.

And no coolers.....
[exception- a small one for medical use]

Link to my (admittedly sparse) packing list is in my signature.
Clothes are mix-n-match, they co-ordinate. Resist the urge to do outfits that cannot be worn as separates with other items.

Ladies, since there are 2 formal nights on cruises of 7 days, do you wear the same dress twice or two different ones?
Anyone on cruise you will know? That you need to impress?
Other than that, as long as dress is not smelly, no one cares.

Yes' date=' policy is only in your cabin...but as long as you don't flaunt it, no one will say anything.[/quote']
That's what we've found. As long as you're discreet, and don't do anything dumb like bringing a whiskey bottle to a bar :).

DCL is not a line most could do on a yearly basis.
As I've commented numerous times - priorities.....
We're barely middle-class. Older home, older make of car, don't eat out [once a month - maybe], don't buy stuff we don't actually need.
But - we take a cruise every year. DCL every other year because their itinerary leaves much to be desired. Longer cruise on years we're not doing DCL.
-
There are a couple insurers that do pre-existing as long as it's purchased by PIF.
The past few cruises, we've done CSA Deluxe. A little more $$, but ability to buy later pays for itself.
-
mid-ship, mid-deck. Upper decks have more sway, as does forward of deck.
I've not had a problem with motion-sickness on DCL.

Thread was dying, and suddenly alive again.
Anyway... Affording DCL, WDW. You know the price and either pay it, or you go elsewhere. It's a matter of priorities.
We're lower-middle class. Drive older, paid-for, car. Live in older home. Don't go out to eat very often. Buy stuff we 'need', not stuff we 'want', etc..
Frivolous expense - Vacations. Cruises. At least once a year.
My Disney Dream dilemma, what would you do?

This would be my thought. And just take out to a nice dinner on actual BD.
