  1. Hi everyone. Just joined so if this isn't in the right forum area please let me know.

I have been watching the deck cam of the Caribbean Princess each day (counting the days until we leave on our honeymoon cruise) and noticed today that it was scheduled to depart 6pm but didn't leave until 8pm eastern (9pm Atlantic time). A three hour delay.

Can anyone know why this happened or in general why it might happen on other cruises?

    Thanks!

Possibly a delayed chore excursion or waiting for entertainers who maybe joining the ship.

  2. Grandeur entered the cut to the regular port and then did a u-turn and parked away from the other ships- near the entrance from the ocean. From there- easy exit through the parking lot, turn left and walk a lovely nature path right to the beach. Opens up new options to be parked out there- including a public bus that stops nearby.

Thanks! I know exactly the area. I have only been to the port once and enjoyed the ship that day while adult kids were off to WDW.

  3. We sailed on Grandeur in 7150 the first week in March. We had 2 chaises and 2 chairs and a small table. The cabin next to us had a full-size table and same chairs. We asked about getting a full-size table rather than the small table, but the room steward did not accommodate us.

Did the cabin next to you (7154) have the chaises? or just the chairs?

  4. We have stayed in 7150 before. It is a corner aft cabin so you have the larger balcony. There is a walk in closet (love it!)

You will be very happy in there.

There will be coffee/tea service in the room. small one cup coffee maker (uses a pod not a K cup) and a kettle for hot water to make tea. All of the Junior Suite rooms have this now.

The kettle sounds great and will use the hot water to make my own "on the seas" brew to enjoy on the balcony. Thanks for all the information.

It looks like there is a coffee maker in the room. Is it a Keurig? Thanks.

Thanks so much! I am really looking forward to that chaise lounge on the balcony. It is a retirement treat to myself. Also my DD and DSI are travelling with me and I would like to spend time with them on the balcony. When I sailed the Grandeur the last time I had an inside room. Much appreciated!

  7. I have read all of old threads but have a question if you have sailed in either of these two cabins. Do either of the cabins have 4 chairs and a table? I have read they have 2 chaises and 2 chairs but read on an old post that there were 4 chairs. I am travelling solo so closest space doesn't matter to me. Thanks in advance.

  8. Thank you. Prague truly is beautiful and I hope to visit some day. Joyce

My travel video of Prague has been uploaded to Youtube. This video highlights many of the interesting sights of Prague including: Prague Old Town, Little Quarter, Prague Castel, St. Vitus’s Cathedral, St. George’s Convent, The Loreto, Golden Lane, Royal Palace, and the Old Jewish Quarter.

In my opinion, Prague is one of the most beautiful and interesting cities in Europe.
