We are in port on the Sun Aug 3 from 11am to 9pm.. I hope this is enough time to do a tour with Juneau-the whale watching and Mendenhall glacier ..which starts at 12.

I will be there first week of August. Should I book a flight now, or can I do it when I get off the ship, in case of bad weather or low Visibility.

I just would like to know..has anyone been successful putting in a low to good bid. (meter center or to the left)

I got the drink package and the dinner package, paid a dinner service charge and a beverage service charge..now I will also have to pay gratuities? Not such a good deal!

I hope they sell smaller bottles..Lots of requests for this! Who knew Big Black DIck would be so popular?

Yes. Glory will be in dry dock late Feb through midnight March. It already has the 2.0 upgrades and will be getting Waterworks as well as some routine maintenance/cleaning. I'm booked on the Glory 25 March cruise Western Caribbean. 45 days!

I am on a Northbound cruise-the Sun from Vancouver to Seward. I sure hope starboard is the best side!

I have stayed both at the Apollo and the Rialto..both are good, but the Rialto is right off Las Ramblas and a few minute cab ride to the port. Cheaper too. Loved it-last October.

I am planning on the 7 day Vancouver to Seward..Want to know if any of the NCL excursions -Ketchikan, Juneau,Skagway are worthwhile before I look elsewhere.

I am reading, but there are a lot of posts..can you tell me what excursions you planned?

Do the specialty dining and do independent shore excursions.

I am planning the 12 day tour-7 cruise days, 4 tour days. Who else has done this? How are the NCL excursions? I have not booked yet,, but I get 2 perks. I will take the drink package, not sure of second. Please, any tips will be appreciated..I have only done Carribbean and Med. Cruises.

I hate the hair dryers on Carnival. The Norwegian Epic had awesome high powered hair dryers, so I did not have to pack mine. Since I will be on the Vista October 1, I do not want to pack a hair dr

yer if at all possible, I have thick curly shoulder length hair, so I need a good dryer, or it will take me 2 hours to dry my hair..Has anyone been on the Vista yet to tell me how good or how bad they are?

la Romana..a real dump..took the Carnival Beach excursion..driving through the area was depressing..once on the Catamarran it was ok..I will not book a cruise with this port again.

Just got off the Sky..Pulled up to GSC, but captain at last minute said we will not be heading out due to high winds..Very disappointed, although I understand. However, I have been on Princess where they have given an onboard credit to use. I know it is only a three day cruise, but they could have given OBC of $25 or so. One of my "strikes" against NCL for being so cheap.

2 skip two ports and just sail west for three days?

I am on the Sky this weekend. Nassau and G.S Cay. I know on longer cruises, if it is an Eastern Caribbean cruise, and a storm is approaching, they change to Western, and Vice versa....but what do they do in this situation?

I have reservations at Cagneys. It is a subjective question..love both! But in your opinion, what is a better choice?

I have only been on one other Norwegian cruise, the Epic -Med, Cruise. It was port intensive, so not a drinking? cruise. I am on the Sky next weekend. What are some of the good signature drinks? (Like Carnival has the Miami Vice)
