I took my DD and he BF (18 year old) and they loved it. I really think it would appeal to any age that loves animals/beaches.
The sun-n-fun tour was $30 pp and I tipped $10 pp. He was great guide: He made an extra stop at a grocery store on our request and even turned a hotspot on so the girls could check in at home during part of the tour. I highly recommend Bodden's tour

Bananarama
in Roatan
I second the idea of the Victor Bodden Sun-n-Fun. We did it in March and had a wonderful time. City Tour, monkeys/parrots and Bananarama with chairs for a couple of hours $30 per person. Very professional and informative (and fun):)

Hands down the best site for planning your Disney trip is https://touringplans.com/ and the best book is the unofficial guide (your library probably has a copy). Although it costs to use some of the trip planning resources on touringplans, it saves so much time with personalized plans and the ability to optimize your plan while in the parks, it's great. I have been to Disney 20+ times and using this app made my last trip the best ever!

Are the zip lines included in the admission price? I could see the admission being so high, if that was the case.

Thanks for the information. There are 3 of us going, so I think we'll go early and take a cab.:)
-
Is that $30 per person or per cab?

We have reservations at the Hilton Garden in (Cruise and park package). They have a shuttle, but I think I want to arrive earlier via taxi.
Two questions -
1 - Does anyone know the approximate cost?
2 - Are taxis cash only or can you use a card? (I'm from a smallish town and have never actually taken a taxi in the US, only on my cruise vacations - LOL!)

A wonderful, funny, review. Thanks for taking the time to post it!

How far out can you make reservations for the shows and/or specialty restaurants?

When I went last spring, my two girls were 17. They loved it. They swam, floated in the beach chairs, kayaked, enjoyed fruity virgin drinks and just relaxed. They loved the food. The fact they had wifi and could post about their day and catch up with their friends was wonderful. They actually jokingly asked if they had to go back to the ship! Having someone wait on them all day was a treat (because I won't).
We are headed back in June. They gave us a returning customer discount!:)

I'm also diabetic and on my NCL cruise last spring they were very good about leaving starches off my plate, omitting sauces and putting dressings on the side in the regular dining room. Every waiter I talked to was very accommodating :)
I'm usually VERY strict about calories and carbs, but I did ease up a little bit (to what the nutritionist recommends on carbs instead of my usual <75 for the day) so I could try some new things and have a taste of dessert.:p
I assume they would be the same in the specialty venues. -
We really enjoyed our Victor Bodden Fun'n'Sun tour last March. We are planning on doing it again in June:) Lots of sites (even stopped at a grocery store for local beer) and then a couple of hours on a lovely beach. I had two teens with me and the driver turned on his wifi for them in the van, so they were happy as well. The monkey sanctuary was really fun and we took some terrific pictures. Try the nachos at Bananarama - YUMMY!

HOLY CRAP! Some of my favorite authors and musicians are on the cruise!!! It's like getting personal time with all of them. I'm booking.
FYI - You must book through JOCO to be a part of their special events and I'm pretty sure they are sold out. You can check here: https://jococruise.com/2016/book/#/Describe%20Your%20Party
My son' s going for his honeymoon.

Maya Chan was a wonderful day! Excellent food and service! Loved the beach chairs out in the ocean and our private cabana. My girls joked that they didn't want to get back on the cruise ship :)

Are there any updates? We travel at the end of May and as of yet there are still no excursions posted. I would like to start making plans.

Has anyone ever used the park and cruise at the Hampton Inn - Coconut Grove? It seems like a pretty good package and the hotel itself gets good reviews.

We were there Friday - Pure relaxation and pampering! After 10 minutes my girls wanted to know if they had to get back on the ship

Here is what I received from them when I booked:
"Please make sure to come off the ship early in order to have plenty of time before the last tender.
When you arrive at the cruise terminal there are 2 security guards at the door and you can ask them where TERMINAL 1 is if you are not sure. Meet us OUTSIDE TERMINAL 1. Following the instructions will take you 5-10 minutes to meet us. We wear yellow polo shirts that saycavetubing.bz and you must ask for Vitalino Sr. or Vitalino Jr.
Please take the earliest possible tender to mainland. I know it is difficult to take the earliest tender because the Cruise Ships always give priority to those who book with them, but please take note that once your reservation is confirmed I will wait for you until you arrive. However, if you want to have a very enjoyable day in Belize at a slow pace please come off the ship early."
I image they want to leave as early as possible, but will wait if you can't get on the first tender -

Massages sound terrific! Thanks for the info :)

Do they still do massages? If so, about what was the cost?

I highly recommend Maya Chan. We were there last march and it was wonderful. We have it booked again for June. Very relaxing and low-key.
