I you see the new element on the print summary under the luggage tag area. This clearly defines what you do or do not receive. It will have all the individual items listed.
Yes, we have the new benefits of the plus package even though we paid the old rate of £50 and not the new rate of £60. I have it listed on the new app as well as from the rep on chat

We booked this a year ago, when it was $50. We’ve done 4 cruises before this with the new Plus, so it feels odd, but since it was booked so long ago, the travel summary only lists the old basics. I did double check on the app and it says in red that not all of the items listed may apply. It also shows that I could upgrade to Plus for $10 a day per person. We are on for 30 days, so sure won’t pay $600 more. We’ve never attempted one of the sundaes, and haven’t used the fitness classes. If we want to go to a casual venue, we’ll just pay. So far we’ve just added $14.95 for one phone to use Ocean Now. Breakfast/coffee delivery using the door hanger is complementary for everyone. Room Service using the phone is an extra charge of $5, but we’ve never used it before.
I did write a letter when it first came out, since it upset me. I never heard back. I got over it once I wrote the letter. Being on board now, it’s really not a problem for us.
Excellent

I am currently onboard with the old Princess Plus. We are able to get drinks up to $15. Our gratuities are covered, as well as Wi-fi.
We will have to pay to go to the casual dining venues. We had to pay a one time fee of $14.95 to use Ocean Now delivery. No Premium desserts or special fitness classes.
Interesting to read you are onboard now but with the old plus package. When did you book cruise and did you pay the old price of $50? We paid the old price of $50 too ,booked last year before it went up to $60 and before the package changed bug Princess have said we will be getting the new package even though we only paid $50. Curious as to why you weren't able to

I really think it is hit and miss , also depends on chefs on different ships at different times Shoudnt be like this but this happens in land bassed restuarants

We dined in Murano and an 18% (not 20) gratis was added. It's not part of the AI tips.
We have paid upfront for all our individual speciality restaurants on our sailing in Oct so we could choose the days and times we wanted .The fee includes 18% gratuities

I think I would ask to be moved to another table away from the big party.
We did this in Murano . A couple arrived and sat opposite us and did nothing but complain to their waiter in very loud voices . It started to upset me so i beckoned our waiter over and whispered in his ear please could he move us to the other end but just wait for a mo then come over and get us . This he did and we had a lovely evening

Yes, several months ago I was waitlisted for Club Dining , that category was completely full , 72 hours before departure I was given the opportunity to transfer the booking to a lower category or cancel the booking I'm afraid.
I assume you paid less for your room then ?

What about bringing wine etc back on board from your cruise ports visited?

Hi , wine limits at Southampton embarkation . Cruised on Queen Mary just before lockdown and bought onboard in hand luggage 2 bottles of wine each and plenty of soda and were never questioned . Were we just lucky with the wine amount?

Ah !! Wait !! I am getting muddled !! On QM 2 it was the Corinthian Lounge that served the little plates of food ! This is not on Queen Vic . Is that right?

Ah , ok . Maybe I am getting muddled . Could have sworn when we sailed on QM 2 in 2019 that these gorgeous little food platters were available in the revamped Winter Gardens , infant i am pretty sure they were

Celebrity does not require it. The people who need to test at the end of the cruise are those flying home to a country that requires it (Canada or UK for example) or going on a b2b. If you live in the US and disembark in the US, no test is needed.
UK does not now require a test flying back home from the USA
Cancelling Israel?

Personally I would book another cruise now and pay deposit . No cruises to this area for years. Cruise companies are saying there needs to be continual peace for at least 1 year before cruises start up . We had one booked for Feb next year . Spring last year we booked another cruise while there was still good cabins left. We had only paid a deposit on the Isreal cruise with Celebrity but was seeing what was happening on cruises there this year. We wernt bothered in loosing their $250 deposit but we were bothered about not finding another cruise we wanted to do ! We werent interested in the offer of an alternative cruise to the Greek Islands , bad weather in Feb as this is what Celebrity was offering for canceled Isreal cruise this Feb . Celebrity emailed Sep last year to cancel Isreal for our cruise Feb 2025 . So deposit was returned and people were trying to find alternative cruises but not happy with what they were finding as thousands and thousands and thousands of people on every cruise line world wide were doing the same ! We have a fab cruise booked as we got in there first . Just a thought. You will be contacted very soon with offers as cruise lines need as much time as poss to book their ships into alternative ports
