  1. Thanks !! Going to check out your review. We are at Embassy now staring at the port ! Cant wait to see the ship come in and get his party started !

    Thanks for the post !

    Enjoy your cruise!

Not to hijack this thread, just a quick question-I'll be staying at the Embassy Suites in Dec.-pre-cruise hotel...in Miami...if you are staying at this one, do you know if you can book a shuttle-for a fee-to the port? If so, are there different times one can sign up for? Otherwise, I can just cab it.) Thanks!

  2. If you are looking on-line.....go to interior then look for listings for PT. They are always going to be "forward" on the ship.

Just for clarification for those who may not know: There are PT cabins, but there are also cabins with Port Holes; for example, some of the 1'As-if you look at the forward cabins, some will have a "diamond", which=Port Holes. I have one of these booked for my cruise on the Conquest in November. It'll be my 1st cabin with the Port Holes:cool:

(No way! That is in the worst part of town!)

Know anything about the Days Inn on N.29th Ave.? How's the neighborhood? Thanks.

  4. urbanhawk,

Just wanted to say I love your cruise ship with date in your signature. Where did you get that.

    Thanks,

    Marcy

Marcy-It is cool! Some folks on our roll call had it as part of their sigs, so I just copied and pasted it!:D Steve

  5. Any info about the Seminole Casino, or the Seminole Hard Rock Cafe/Casino? Specifically, the area/neighborhood.... Looks like they are very close to each other. They look fairly close by cab from one of the hotels Nana G was asking about-the Comfort Inn on Stirling....Thanks.

  6. She is trying to scare you as the cabins look almost the same size as a inside or very close. They are listed as the same size 185 s.f., some say by looking they say it looks smaller by a slight amount. For sure they are not half the size.

First time Iv ever heard they used to be crew quarters. I dont think crew has had cabins mixed in with pax since Iv been sailing, who knows when the ships were new, but this is the first time anyone ever thought the crew once slept in these cabins.

They are however bunks, which most solos said they love because of all the extra floor space.

Hi Fire! This is kind of funny-don't know how often it happens, but at the end of Dec., I booked a 1A on the Miracle for Jan. 2011-a few weeks ago, I rec'd both a call and an e-mail from Carnival, that they needed my cabin for storage:confused:, so they upgraded me to a 4A at no additional cost:cool:. I am traveling solo, so it really doesn't matter to me-same size room, same location (Riviera deck),and no bunks on Spirit class, anyways. Has this happened to you or other folks, out of curiosity?

  7. Happy Holidays to all! Sorry if this has been asked before-I didn't read all the previous pages....I will be spending a post cruise day in F.L. on 12-22-09, as my flight is not till 6 p.m. Is there anywhere in F.L. area to see manatees? (Maybe I'm in the wrong part of Florida to see them?)....If this is not an option. I will probably do a quick tour of the Everglades, before heading out to the airport. Thanks...
