  1. No. Don’t remember getting a lot of paperwork. That night is when I started getting a sore throat that turned into Covid. We actually don’t do the wine tasting. It’s all moot now.

  3. I’m traveling with my husband and his cousin in another cabin. They have been enjoying the cruise I planned. I totally forgot about the P/E lounge. Doesn’t matter because his cousin is on her first Princess cruise and has food allergies so couldn’t eat there anyway. It’s really not an issue.
  4. I’m elite but saw no pile of paper. Maybe our cabin steward is not very good.
  5. Currently on the sky. Nothing in my cabin about it. Doesn’t matter because I am quarantined with Covid. Just shows the cabin steward didn’t do his job.
  6. I first had a sore throat embarkation night. Next morning still had it. I tested myself and it was negative. By the afternoon I was tired. Unlike some of you I don’t want to pass this to others. We are also traveling with a cousin who is immune-compromised. Also you never know who you are near whom Covid could be devestating.
  7. Except I am quarantined in my cabin till I am fever free for 24 hours. Medical had to escort me my cabin to make sure I went there.
  8. I do have insurance. I received an itemized bill under my door. The extra charges were for a flu test. Dh went down to the medical center and they took it off. They gave me a thermometer but it is no longer working. I guess I have to wait until 4pm when they open to let them know. I’m sure I was exposed in London. We were there for 4 1/2 days and then took a train from Waterloo station to Southampton.
  9. I went to the medical center and saw a nurse. He tested me for Covid and said he would only charge me for the test which was $38. My dh saw on our folio a charge for $93. Any one know why? I have to wait till tomorrow to call as medical is closed now. Also, doe Princess still reimburse for the days in isolation? I think I am only in isolation till my fever is gone but not sure. I will have to check tomorrow.
  10. You are entitled to your opinion but if a Delta flight is on Virgin Atlantic metal and Virgin cancels the flight then of course it is cancelled too. Not Delta’s fault. All the airlines seem to code share to some extent.
  11. We won’t either. Do they only fly to LHR? All the stories involve flights to Heathrow. We made it to London this morning. Our connecting flight in Atlanta was an hour late. No big deal. I did notice that coach was half empty. The person we were meeting up with at Heathrow flying in from Boston said the same thing on her American Airways flight. Now I just have to hope that our return flight is not real delayed or cancelled!

  13. Thanks. No live from. We are going on Sky Princess and there are a few Live from's now. If we have any issues with airline I'll update.
  14. Our new flights are outbound Virgin but on a Delta plane. Return is Delta but on a Virgin plane. We'll be able to compare Delta and Virgin premium economy. When we purchased the flights through EZ Air we could have bought the tickets for about $20 less on Virgin website but would have had to pay then and not have the capability to cancel at no charge. At the time the flight times were good although ultimately they changed their schedule by four hours.
  15. I don't know anything about the Virgin Atlantic flights where you are, but the one near Washington DC going to London is what I was looking at. You can go to flightAware.com with a flight# and see the last few weeks.
  16. If you look at your Travel Summary from the personalizer (I print it and take a copy) it lists your travel info and give you the phone numbers to call if you are in US and another for outside US and another for Australia. In the US is 1-800-545-0008. It says it is the enroute desk.
  17. Wonderful! That is how customer service should work. Follow up and also offer compensation if warranted. It feels so much better when they offer it as opposed to you having to ask for it.
  18. We do! @cr8tiv1 check my thread I just started about our last minute issue with flight and how EZ Air helped.
  19. We are leaving tomorrow. Yesterday morning I got up extra early (ugh) and checked my email. I had a message from Virgin Atlantic that my flight, scheduled to take off Monday night to London was already cancelled (operational issue) and they rebooked me on same flight 24 hours later. No, that will not work as we are meeting someone in London (who is flying in from elsewhere in US) and have tickets to different places for our stay in London. I called EZ Air and at the prompt where it asks if you are leaving within 48 hours I pressed it (even though it was more than 48 hours). The rep checked and saw it was cancelled and then offered me another flight. Only thing is it was not a non stop but a one stop where we have to change planes in Atlanta. It is a code share with Delta (I have checked and they have not cancelled this flight since the meltdown just over a week ago). We have to leave much earlier Monday than our original flight but we get in to London several hours earlier. Score! EZ Air said they had to keep us in our same category, Premium Economy when booking new flights. She may have also said she had to keep us on Virgin Atlantic or their code share partners. I am more than happy on how this turned out as the Virgin Atlantic original flight is constantly late (I had been checking flight aware for a couple of months). I must say that yesterday morning for about an hour was a stressful time!
  20. I know I have read things on here about this issue but it was when I wasn't traveling. Now that I am about to leave I need to make sure we can block the light. Dh gets up really early and usually sits on the desk chair in the closet area and goes on the computer. I have heard of people bringing blue painter's tape. How do you bring it so you are not bringing a whole roll?

  22. Thanks for the responses. I forgot to say we are doing carry on only and our bags are stuffed!
