Certainly makes it a lot more affordable [emoji383][emoji383][emoji389][emoji385] with 3 couples!!
Cheaper than each couple getting their own suite. ;)

Thanks. Husband and I will be on the Ruby 3/3/2018. If anyone is interested I could ask about a room. Will just leave it open to see.
Your question would be better asked on your roll call.

<sigh> I'm still waiting for someone to define "abuse."

Not sure if there's an ice room on Breakaway
I believe Breakaway and Getaway have the salt room instead. Love it!

I start using Zicam oral mist a few days before I travel, throughout the duration of the cruise, and for a few days after.

We have always sailed with six in the GV, one couple for each suite. I always felt it would get a little lonesome with just us two rattling around in all that space, especially the GVs on the Dawn and Star. I probably wouldn't mind it on a Jewel class ship.

Since it's a B1 they may or may not have them when you board.... just ask the room steward and he / she can bring them for you.
Once when we requested them, they were lowered down from an upper deck by rope. ;p

He'll be on the Ruby Princess 12/16.

I don't mind the music. It's the decibels.

Norwegian must be scraping the bottom of the barrel.

We once had a butler try to refuse our tip. When I called him to the room the last day, he said he hadn't done anything. I told him he brought our daily goodies and kept the coffee supplied, and that his tip reflected that.

The thermal suite.
There is an adults-only pool, but it is still in the middle of the mayhem.

A great concierge is one who never says No. There are a number of ways this can be accomplished if the need/want can't be met, usually including alternatives.
-
You might also consider purchasing an onboard credit for delivery aboard. It's under "Gifts & More" on the NCL web site.

When paying over $6000 for a cruise I would hope there would be more free places to dine.
If you're paying over $6,000 :o I certainly hope you're staying in The Haven, in which case the restaurant there would be an option.

the hardcore bargainers will ask for 50-60% off as their opening offer.
This must make me hardcore. I start at 50% of the asking price when haggling in Mexico and the Caribbean.

my inlaws have been dealing with a jewelry store for years in STT that they love. My BIL even bought an engagement ring from them on the phone and it was everything it was cracked up to be.
I've also been dealing with a jeweler in STT for over 10 years. We're very pleased with the quality and value. We've been doing business so long they'll even send me pieces on approval.
When once questioned over why they don't advertise on the ships, our jeweler said they'd rather pass the savings on to the buyer.

<snip> as all Catholic priests are bound to say Mass every day in any case wherever they are, even if they are alone.
Surprisingly enough, there have been priests traveling on most of the cruises I've been on, and they opened their daily mass to passengers and crew.
To the OP, this does not give you the certitude you need. However, what is published on the Princess web suite is not incorporated into the cruise contract. It doesn't look like you have any recourse other than to do what others have suggested and talk to your parish priest.

I always order coffee and a light breakfast. I tell the butler that the bedroom doors will be closed; quietly let yourself in and leave the tray on the table. It's nice waking up to coffee waiting for me. Some butlers get it on the first try; others take some training.
We had the most awesome butler in the GV once. Quiet as a mouse, never knew that he'd come and gone until we found goodies waiting on the table... and we were sitting in the same room! (Totarem, or "Mr. T," if you're lucky enough to get him.)

Not the Breakaway, but another NCL ship, yes, we took a blender. I think the restrictions on appliances are for anything with a heating element. You may want to consider, though, can you get the blender clean enough in the bathroom sink?

Mom2CrazyKids, it sounds like you've done your research. Yes, different societal norms -- not "bad," just different. Might it be stressful? Sure. It's not what we in the West are used to. It'll probably be very different than any other cruise you've ever done. But the great part about being a traveler -- as opposed to a tourist -- is opening yourself up to new experiences. You seem to have a lovely, open mind. If you do this, I hope you have a grand time, and come back and tell us all about it!

Have done several b2bs on Norwegian. We were always instructed to pack up, and the stewards would take care of the bags. Just walked off with purse and docs. Never a hitch!
Popcorn - Is Popcorn available on the cruise ships in any place?
in Princess Cruises

Well, THAT explains why it's only one pat of butter per person in the MDR. It's being redirected for the popcorn.
