  1. ok, lol, there's a lot of variables. First of all, Capt Johnny insists he won't be bringing Harmony out. Second, Capt Johnny likes doing rotations longer than 10 weeks. I don't know when Harmony goes into service. Soooooo, pretending Harmony starts service April 2, 2016 with Capt Gus, and he does a 10 week rotation, and if Capt Johnny does a 10 week rotation. Then On October 29 Capt Gus signs off and Capt Johnny signs on. What are the dates of your B2B?

October 16 for the 7 nighter, then the 23 for the TA home to Ft.Lauderdale...

Thank You In Advance ! For Your Guesstimate...

  2. The Harmony is supposed to eventually move to Florida as its home port after sailing out of Europe for a few months. The OP is from Costa rica. Its quite expensive to fly to Europe. We sailed the med last year but primarily did it for the itinerary. I wouldnt have spent the amount required to fly to Europe if i was mainly interested in the ship not the itinerary.

Harmony will be sailing out of Florida after the TA 10-23-16...

  3. they do NOT accept pre filled out ones. we were done filling it out before they finished processing our passports.

and how in hell do you know what your status will be ahead of time?

We fill out the morning of, if I can't tell how I'll be in 2 hours I have more to worry about than filling out the form !!!

    Its called being prepared !!!

  4. This was a great review. We loved our cruise on the Allure and would only make few comments, not criticisms. Like you we thought that there were fewer food selections, and though the food was fine...we certainly did not go hungry...it was not exceptional. And agree that the Windjammer dining room was tight. I've always enjoyed an omelet station on a cruise and the prepared omelets were just OK, as were the prepared fried eggs. With so many people that's probably the best way to serve them. My only other "comment" would be the lack of TV stations. I realize that one does not need to watch TV on a cruise, but there are down times like when you are dressing for dinner, or before you turn in that a good selection of channels would be nice.

Could not agree more on the TV !!!!

Carnival carries all Miami based local channels as well as many other options. It is not that difficult to change satellites and carry more channels.

  5. Having different waiters on the ship is no different than having different waiters when you go to restaurants....not really sure why folks need the same servers.....just tell them what you want, and it will be done!

    Couldn't have said it better....

BTW, this goes for everything onboard, the crew are not mind-readers, even know some guests think they are.
