I have Joy booked for this December and have two aft balconies on hold. One is on deck 9 and one on deck 13....pros and cons to either? We typically sail in a large balcony and have never done aft.

We went to Cagneys for the first time on the Getaway in 2015. It became one of my favorite meals. I then had Cagneys again on Getaway in 2016 and it was good but not as amazing as the first time. My third time was on my honeymoon last December on the Jade (Dec 14 on a 10 night so not sold out and not busy). They COMPLETELY messed up our meal. Brought the wrong steak for my husband and brought my steak well done when I ordered Medium Rare. The sides came out well after I had finished my steak. I was just on the SUN a few weeks ago and went to Cagneys. It was awful. My steak came out medium well but cold. Again I ordered it medium rare. I chalked it up to being a 3 nighter where the quality may not be the same. I do have it booked again for this December on Escape.......fingers crossed it is somewhat better. I don't know if the Free At Sea has made the difference in lackluster quality and service.......

I have cruised several times in 8738 on Getaway as well as once in 8712. I have 8738 booked on Escape, Breakaway and Encore. There is not much difference in balcony size actually because 8738 is a secret large balcony. However the bridge is not far from you. 8712 you do not see straight down into the water if that is of concern to you. There is about a 1.5 ft metal deck.

Some of my favorite cabins have been the BX category on the Away ships 🙂

Hello,
I am thinking of doing the same thing in August. Can you update us on how everything went. Pricing info would be great if you don't mind sharing. Thanks in advance!
It was the most amazing day and setting. I think our resort total was like $2500 and that was for champagne toast, rum punch, wedding cake for 35, 1 changing room, archway, speaker and use of resort. Here is the link to our photos - if you contact Bohio please let them know Shanny & Sean referred you.

I went to pay for my social media package today for my sailing next week and noticed at check out it went from $4 a day to $6.80.
Did I miss an announcement or do you think it is a website glitch? Looks like the other packages went down in price.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a Booze Cruise in Nassau?
-
We are cruising Conquest Nov 18 and formal night 2 is definitely on Thanksgiving. They will do the traditional Thanksgiving menu as well as the "fancy" menu.
-
As long as you have a receipt confirmation of booking, you will have a room. On my first Carnival cruise, I booked at GTY and did not get the assignment until the day before.

I just gave up 6 slots for our upcoming Conquest cruise, so do not be discouraged.....you may still get in!

I am sailing with a group of 50 for our wedding on the Conquest. I have extreme claustrophobia and abhor muster drills. Can someone tell me where Station C is?

I am cruising with 50 people for our wedding in November. The dining is all linked for our group.
Does anyone know what the table sizes are on Conquest?
Trying to figure out if I should link specific cabins together for table seating?

Our favorite celebratory dinner is the Ultimate Balcony Dinner. It's just a little bit more than dining at a specialty restaurant, but not that much considering the extras you get--cocktails, photo, champagne, and flowers.
That did sound amazing but we are not in a balcony :-(

Yes I am on Crown and I do not like the new Sabatini's menu so thinking I may just wait it out and not prebook that venue just in case.
-
I am booked on my honeymoon cruise in December and on my planner it shows Crown Grill and Sabatini's sample menu's. Is it safe to say these menu's are accurate?

We enjoyed our cruise on the Liberty as well.
All of the FunTimes are in the review. There was only one cruise elegant night and that was on the first and only sea day.
Our Sea Day is the last day before we get off. I think our itinerary is opposite of what you sailed even though it is the same ports.
Nassau, HMC, Grand Turk, Amber Cove, Sea Day.
Also I did not finish my sentence about the Fun Times.....I meant do you have them where you can email them to me? It won't let me print them off of the posts for some reason.

I am cruising same itinerary on Conquest in November with a group of 55. Do you happen to have the Funtimes? Also can you confirm when formal nights were?
-
On our upcoming cruise in November - formal nights are Monday and Thursday per the steakhouse. Not sure if they are the same for all 6 day - but it is for the Thanksgiving week sailing

I cruise with my kids 14,16,20 - let me know what your ports are and I can give you some inexpensive or free options :-)

I am going on my honeymoon on Crown Princess 12/7/18 and am reading about this Sanctuary. We are booked in an inside, so this sounds appealing to me for sea days. I have pricing, but what other amenities are there other than private loungers?
-
After the steakhouse meal, sometimes all I could handle was sorbet and ice cream. Hopefully they still offer this upon request.
Selection of sherbet and ice cream is on the new menu

I was in 12021 last April and the room was very small with maybe 2 feet in front of the bed. We are rarely in our room so it was not terrible and the location was great so it was worth it to us.

Hey, if you remember me we are on this same cruise! I don't mind booking excursions through the cruise line- we've not done Princess before but have always been satisfied with the ones done on NCL. They do tend to have more people on, but I find them pretty reliable and like the safety blanket of being on a ship tour.
However for this cruise I can't really find the things I want to do via Princess. We are trying to do something different in every port! So far I have planned:
Barbados: Calabaza boat trip (very similar to the Silvermoon one already mentioned)
St Lucia: Will probably book the island tour via Spencer Ambrose
St Kitts: have arranged to do the zip lining independently, would have preferred to book via the cruise line but it isn't offered
I hope some of that helps!

Awesome! We are also booked on Calabaza! Antigua we have hired a private driver for a tour at $45 pp and we need 2 more so would love for you to join us. Please email me at shannyrios at gmail.com
Seaside or Seashore
in MSC Cruises

We are going on Seashore this Sunday and then Seaside May 11. It is our first MSC as well and cruise 55 for me. I can certainly share my thoughts when we return!
