Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Thanks! yes we will tell the appropriate dining room manager. We were hoping for some independence for the kids on the cruise, meaning they could grab food if they were hungry so was just trying to see what was available dairy free routinely outside the main dining room/meals. I was hoping with the advent of the vegan menus there would be more dairy free options on board in general
  2. Hi We will be cruising with a kiddo with a dairy and nut allergy (except almonds). His palate has developed to be quite adult like so finding options usually isn't a problem. However I was wondering if Princess accommodates dairy allergies at Alfredo's or at Sabatini's? And by this I would mean dairy free cheese options, not just pizza without cheese. We've seen their new vegan menu and that with a combination of the regular menu will be great and we know to tell our waiter the night before about the next day's meal selections. Also wondering about the trident grill and if they use dairy free buns for burgers etc. Cross contamination is not an issue for him at all. Thanks!
  3. we already have travel plans set for this summer and can't fit in the cruise in based on vacation days 🙂 alas if we had looked more closely last year....shoulda, woulda, coulda 🙂
  4. Thanks all! we're mentally prepared for the uncertainty now and we'll figure it out. We'd have to wait until 2028 for them to be in the same club it turns out because of birthday timings, so we'll just wing it with other activities if need be
  5. Definitely they currently want to hang together, which is why I am asking. to vacation intentionally with friends and then not hang out together while on vacation will seem pointless to them. And we are good enough friends at this time that we will postpone our trip together for 2 years if that's the better decision. will they still be friends in 2 years? who knows. I guess then we'll take separate itineraries. 🤷‍♀️
  6. We want to do an alaskan cruise on Princess in summer 2025 with a family friend. At that time our boys will be 12yo and hers will be 10yo and 13yo. Our boys are going to want to hang with each other in the kids club, but my understanding is the cut off is 13yo go to the teen club. Does anyone have experience with having their kid age down to stay with a sibling or friends? i.e. with the 13yo be able to go to "the Lodge" which si the 8-12yo? The 12 year olds and the 13yo would be in the same grade. If they won't we'll need to wait at least 2 years to do this cruise to allow the kids to all hang in the teen club together Thanks!
