  1. We have the Free at Sea with the basic drink package for our cruise in March 2024. It shows one 6 liter case of water but it also says exclusions apply. Can't find where the exclusions are defined though. I didn't even realize we had it until I saw this thread and checked.

I have not seen this offer. Have 3 upcoming cruises in Feb & March. Wouldn't the complimentary water be nice! We have the Free at Sea perks, however not the upgraded option. Might make a difference.

Look under your cruise summary and look at the description of your package. I was surprised when I saw it under ours.

I can't see any questions on that link. Just cabin descriptions.  Possibly because any link for me reverts to the .co.uk website.   Can you tell me what the answer is please.  We are in a suite on the Star in July.

Same thing for me. Just cabin descriptions.

  3. We are on the Star in December in the OS too. I have been trying to find out if they still offer the breakfast and lunch in Cagney's. I thought I had read somewhere that they have removed this from some of the ships and just trying to confirm if this is the case with the Star. I have had no luck searching the NCL website.

  4. The two big perks for us are:

    1. The ability to get on and off the ship quickly and not have to stand in long lines.

    2. Breakfast and lunch in Cagneys/Moderno is another huge plus. We can avoid all the craziness at the buffet and we find it much quieter and relaxing than the dining rooms.

    I did...You might be right.

However, in looking at the cruises with this discount, there are Latitude offerings still available.

I called 2 weeks ago and we got the LATREW and the LATVIP for our booking.  And on top of that we had a 20% off from our Cuba cruise cancellation.  So we got a pretty sweet deal on our Baltic next year.

  6. Hi,

We are booking an all day tour in Havana and were wondering if anyone can shed some light on what time we could be off the ship? We want to provide the tour company a start time and we would like to start as soon as possible.. Arrival is 7:00AM.

    thank you

    Chuck

  7. Beautiful artwork on that ship. It's in every stair well, on all the walls to the cabins, and in the centrum. Is this the ship with the glass flowers? Sorry I get this Radiance class mixed up, I choose them all the time. But if the Brilliance has the glass flowers on the Guest Services level, those are the flowers by the artist that made the ones in the Bellagio casino in Las Vegas. Gorgeous.

Take time on this ship to look at the art that is everywhere. Millions of dollars of art, better than you see in some galleries. You don't have to be an expert or even have knowledge. Just look at it. If you like some of it, spend more time looking at it. There is an immense amount of beautiful expensive art on the Brilliance.

I agree with this, too often we are running up and down the stairs to get somewhere and totally miss the artwork. We make a point on every cruise to look at all the artwork on each level.

  8. just received an email cancelling our Priscilla April 10,and not permitted to rebook it until we board...customer services not interested..not a good start really:confused:

I would call back and speak to another customer service person and try to rebook, seems like you get different answers depending on who you are speaking to. Worth a shot.

  9. If you don't mind sharing with us, what was the issue? We've never encountered anything like that - but have often expected it. (Two guys with a daughter.) Sorry that it affected your cruise, but I'm glad you still had a great time.

We had requested the beds to be together like we always do. When we got to the cabin they were apart. Figured no big deal, when we see the steward we would ask for them to be put together. When he knocked on the door later to introduce himself I asked him to put the beds together. He gave me a weird look, pulled a piece of paper out of his pocket, and then said: But you are 2 men. I said yes, but that shouldn't matter. he then did a little head jerk and said huh,,, ok. It was very obvious by his responses that he had a problem with it. I'm pretty thick skinned, but this I felt needed to be addressed so no one else should have to deal with that type of response. Plus I really didn't want him in our cabin at this point.

Was very surprised that he would even question our request. I'm sure it is a request they get often. We just asked for a new steward and suggested they maybe revisit diversity training. This is the first time we have ever encountered this.

  10. We were on the same cruise. Interested to see what issue you encountered. We had a major issue on day 1 that required a chat with management regarding some of their staff needing diversity training and changing our steward. Awkward the whole time since we were getting the "look" from him when we passed him in the hallway.

We enjoyed the cruise, bar and dining room staff were excellent. Overall though we felt the staff was a little disengaged everywhere else. Not used to the senior staff not saying hello or nodding when they walked past you. Not sure if the feeling we got on the cruise was because it was a 3 day.

none of this impacted us from having a good time, but think we will avoid the shorter cruises. Oasis next year for us.

  11. Thank you all for the GREAT insight. This is our first Alaska, so a good mix of ports and scenery is probably the best option for us. We booked 8344 on the Solstice, aft, so we will get to see both sides as we cruise. I think we will keep it. Ya'll have us excited now, but a long wait. At least we have other cruises between now and then.

  12. We are looking to book Alaska in 2017 and need opinions on which of these has a better itinerary. Is Skagway worth giving up on Hubbard and better inside passage viewing? Just not sure which to take. Any opinions would be appreciated. Will the ship matter as much? Infinity is an older ship, Solstice is newer. TIA
