Thanks so much to you and Patti for doing these awesome reviews. I really enjoy reading them even if the ship and or ports are not currently on my radar,
I do have a Grand Turk question. You mentioned that the beach in front of Margaritaville is rocky, Would you recommend water shoes or would bare feet be okay?

Had the sweet potato waffles on Celebration last month and they were delicious! We actually enjoyed them more than the beignets.

I’m up all the way forward.
casino is hammered busy. I was able to convert about 50% of my free play to cash.
MAJOR COMPLAINT - The public toilets near say casino and forward theatre are TINY. Single stall and one urinal. Ladies, yours can’t be much better. Too small for those areas.
BTW, I’m able to stream the Cin vs KC game on my phone. Watching in my cabin.
I one hundred percent agree about the size of the public restrooms. A horrible design flaw.

I don't know if it is available on all ships but on Legend in October I had a salmon dish that was in a puff pastry (like Wellington) and it was absolutely the best entree I have ever had on a cruise!

Thanks again for another great review and beautiful pictures. We will be on the Legend for the third time in a few short days! Since we live just minutes from the port we have sailed from Baltimore often. I have one question. We have not played bingo in quite awhile and never Deal or no Deal. Is the card purchase cash only or can you use your sign and sail?

Thank you so much for this absolutely delightful review. I don't know how I happened upon it as Alaska is not on my radar at the moment. We have been twice and loved it but thought that would be enough! Well after your review I may have the Alaska fever again!!

We are sailing Celebration on January 15 and have been checking every few days for specialty dining reservations with nothing showing up. When I checked today everything showed sold out except Bonsai Teppanyaki. Wow! I am hoping this might be a mistake? Or do you think there may be cancellations? Should I keep checking?

The information that I was given is that each cabin needs to make their own reservation on line and then upon boarding go to the restaurant and request that you all be seated together. This is an issue that Carnival really needs to resolve.

So sorry to hear your comments on MDR service. Our last cruise was on Legend in April, 2019, Honolulu to Vancouver and the service in MDR was probably the worst we have experienced in 20 plus cruises. We have always tipped extra to our waitstaff on the last evening and that time the tip envelopes stayed right in our purses. Very sad because the dining room experience has always been a highlight for us. We will be back on Legend in October and will be hoping for some improvement!

We’re on the Celebration in January 2023 as well; which sailing?
January 15. So looking forward to it. First cruise since April, 2019!

Thanks! Makes sense.

Fingers crossed that their will be Rudi's sea grill on Celebration. We would like to make reservations as soon a available on cruise manager. We will need a table for four, but it will be two couples paying separately. Can someone explain how that is done?

We had to cancel Mardi Gras two days before sailing after I had done lots of research! We are now booked on Celebration for January, 2023. I am so hoping that they keep Emmeril's and Rudi's!!!

I haven't been able to find sea dogs on the deck plans. Is it just part of the lido marketplace?

Just booked yesterday. Mardi Gras October 2021! We do have a Mississippi river cruise booked for October 2020. That is going to be so different!

I was there yesterday and saw two different individuals carrying the clear bags big enough to hold wallets, phone, sun glasses and bottled water.
I was hoping to hear this. My purse isn't even big enough to hold the bottled water. I will take it and if they tell me it has to be checked I will be first with that. Thank you for the first hand info.

The clear purse would be perfect if allowed, just big enough to hold sunglasses, camera, ID and cash and credit card. And cross body for hands free!

My friend recently booked a tour through the concierge desk at our hotel and she was told that clear plastic purses (like the stadium approved) Are allowed. Does anyone have any personal experience?

Another interesting thing about anytime is the number of people that want 'flexibility' and yet will line up at the SAME TIME every night. We have sat having a before dinner drink and watched the line on different cruses. The same people are in line every night at the same time. Standing there waiting to eat. Don't understand the "I want anytime dining so I can stand in a line at the same time".
100% agree with this! I cannot understand the need for standing in line for dinner. Even with set dining it is amazing how many people are in line at 15 minutes before the doors open. We try to time our arrival at just after the doors open and guess what: our table is always there!!

We plan to book the cruise early next week and will ask about the transfer. I have been on the website for quick shuttle and found that their summer schedule (which includes pick up at Canada Place) starts on May 5 this year and we will arrive April 29, so I guess I will be calling them also. Thanks everyone for your responses.
Limon without doing a tour??

It is my understanding that there is not much to do at the immediate port area. (correct me if I am wrong since most of what I have read is a few years old) Is it possible to take a cab to a nearby town for shopping, dining, etc, Or even a beach area with chairs, umbrellas, dining faciities. We are not interested in booking a tour.
