  1. Hi all,

We will be in Nassau from 7-2 on March 2nd. It looks like most things don't open until 9:00. Does anyone have any ideas of anything we could do early? We are thinking about going to Ardastra gardens since we'll have our 4 year old with us. Thanks!

  2. What part of "however, the U.S.V.I. is a territory and you will not be required to go through customs until your cruise is over" did you not understand?

Really? After 9/11 I remember people having to go through customs in St Thomas after visiting the Bahamas, territory or not. No need to have an attitude.

  3. It used to be that you had to stand in line before going to say like St Thomas after stopping at a non US port with your documents and get checked off the list. It was a royal PITA and it took forever. Thankfully it is no longer like that. You only do it when debarking the ship for the final time now.

    Thanks!

  4. Your ship is still required to be screened by CBP if you visit a United States port of call after a foreign port.

However, the U.S.V.I. is a territory and you will not be required to go through customs until your cruise is over.

Ok so we would since we travel to Nassau first? What does that process look like?

  5. Hi everyone! We haven't sailed since 2009 and I know some things have changed. There was a time when you would have to go through customs if you stopped at a non US port followed by a US port. Is that still the case? We are on the Splendor in March and our first stop is Nassau followed by St Thomas. If we do, what should we expect? Thanks for your help!

  6. We've cruised out of San Juan 3 times and always carried cash and never had a problem. Just like what was mentioned above we try to have larger bills and we split it between my husband and I. Also, just like any other city be aware of your surroundings and you'll be fine. Have a great trip!

  7. Hey guys

This will be our first cruise with our son. He'll be 4 when we sail next March. Can anyone give me any ideas about what kinds of activities they offer this age group on Carnival? We're sailing on the Splendor. I'm not sure how much we'll use the camp yet but we would like a general idea of what they have to offer.

    Thanks!

  8. I've looked through several threads on here and it looks like the admission price for the aquarium is $45 for adults. Is this still correct? Also, how much is the price for kids? Our son will be 4 when we go. The only price I saw was dated and was for kids under 4. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks

  9. Hi all

We have had a little break from cruising but have just recently booked on the Splendor for March 2015. We will be cruising with our son who will be 4. Our last cruise was in 2009. So what's new that we should know about? Any input on the Splendor? We'll be cruising from Miami and headed to the Eastern Caribbean. Thanks!

  10. Hey guys! We are planning our next cruise for March 2015. While this will be our 7th cruise, this is our first time cruising with our 4 year old. We've been to Nassau before but again that was before kids :) Any advice on what we could do? Also, our ship will be there from 7-2 so I'm not sure what would be the best bang for our buck. We are active and love the water/beach. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
