  1. I haven't received a call or email from MSC yet regarding my cancellation (Roundtrip Marseille June 6 to June 9). Thank you for the members who posted information. I would never have found out without this forum. I find it very inconsiderate that MSC knew the cruise is definitely cancelled prior to May 8 and today still no word from them (booked through MSC USA). It's a shame that a majority of the passengers are unaware at this time unless they read the forum.

     

    I have a flight booked to Marseille (Party of 7) from the US and if they are not able to refund my flight it is proving very difficult to find a hotel there as most are fully booked without being 10+ miles from the center.

     

    Best of luck to those affected in finding other arrangements. It is relieving to read Ashling's post and the help MSC provides but we have yet to hear from them.

     

    Hi same situation for us , we booked the cruise starting 06. june from Marseille, until this moment not any email or information from MSC Germany regarding any cancellation , I wrote 3 emails and asked to explain the current situation , but nobody did respond until now. This is an impudence of the shipping company to treat customers in this way.

  2. I have found a few resorts on Resort for A Day but wondering if there are better options that I am missing. Looking for a day at the beach/resort for hubby and myself.

     

    We have the same idea, and I think I will book the Sonesta Great Bay Beach Resort, Westin seems a long ride with the cab and the other Sonesta is near by the Airport we have been that place twice. Formerly we took a cab to Orient Beach , but this time we would like to figure out the day pass and just want to relax and perhaps do some shopping.

  3. We just had the H2 Penthouse Suite, for the first view its nice, but together with the Haven and all the perks for suite guests ( which are not existing :mad: ) its the money not worth. In the concierge lounge of the Haven you have nothimg, no drinks , coffee , sandwiches, fruit, nor newspapers, book nothing. Coffee has bad taste and must be paid. The Haven restaurant was always crowed and the tables are too narrow , so you have no privacy.

    No perks like free internet minutes or laundary work, free drinks nothing.

    So all together I do not need butler service and can not recommened the haven.

    Maybe for some people the PH Suite is nice, but we where disappointed.

    No teamaker, nesspresso machine has no quality, tv to small, bed not long enough, no whirlpool tube, no antifog mirror in bath, large balcony but poor furnished.

    I just did book the Hampton 1 day more bevor our cruise because of bad flight connection. So I booked with booking.com.

     

    I did copy my order and please look at the red arrow.

     

    Shuttle service is included for free, how this could happen I do not know, because we visit NO first time.:)

  6. Will be staying in NO for a couple of days after our cruise with the Dream in December. Was wondering if there are rent a car companies near the port that pick you up and then you can drop off at the airport without a one way drop charge. Like we know from Miami, Fort Lauderdale or LA. We would prefer ALAMO, anybody can give support, I am wondering why I find less informations about car renting. :)

  7. Very easy - we changed my black one to a white one.

     

    I can not confirm that, in our Sky Loft Suite we have found two wristbands , one in white and the other one in black color. So my spouse decided to wear hers in white.:)

    Because my wrist is very large , i did not wear it at all, furthermore its cheap plastic/rubber and the fastener could produce an skin allergy.

    Using your Gold Card gives you all functions at all.

     

    You may watch my video from the cabin , you see my spouse wearing the white one and the other one is still on the bed.

     

  8. Also suite guests need reservations in advance. You can do it online, with the IQ App or via the Television system at your cabin. Before entering theater or two70 your reservation will be controlled and scaned. For suite guest there are special seats reserved.

  9. Yes thanks a lot for the link, last time we did go from Civi was 2012 and the parking area opposite the "cruiseterminal" was just built up. I was able to park my car directly in opposite the ship and had to pay in a container which was the cashier.

    Now you have different offers from different companies also they provide transportion .

     

    But I think your link is the right one, inside the port and nearby the ship .:)
