  1. We just come back from a cruise with the amazing Anthem .

Want to share some pics so you can get some informations.

The Bumbers are for free, you have to follow the line, at our cruise only 6 cars where working...

at the North Pole you have signs : from this point 30 minutes waiting time and also 60 minutes...that was awfull ...

  2. @ Andrew thats right , the upstairs shower is large and has two shower heads ( GROHE) but I was complaining the pressure of the water, and second I would like to have a whirl pool tub. Mirrors are antifog, but you have only one sink.

The shower at ground is a little bit smaller.

Catcat , you are able to order everything from any restaurant ! At diamond club you find all the menues, for breakfast you have a order form at your cabin.

what I complain here is for example fresh pressed orange juice only for cash and about 5 $ a glass.

For those who are interested I just put some pictures online.

    Thanks for your comments !!

  3. @Colo Cruiser, I am talking about the 4 avaiable cabanas inside the sanctuary not the open ones in front of the pool. They charged me 220 dollars a day, so I paid 1980 Dollar  , they give me a discount for the first day :)

This was december 2014, in december 2013 we did the same but did only 7 days caribic cruise. If you dont believe I can post a copy of the invoice :D

  4. With the TV in use, it is no longer a Sanctuary with quiet for those outside the cabana but within hearing distance.

Hi everyone, of course they provide you with BOSE headphones, not only for the television, included are also apple ipods with tons of music, ok what is all included else: for example tea, coffee, drinks , M&Ms chocolate, as much as you want, 1 bottle wine every day, water , we got 2 boxes with soya milk, 2 big plates with sample of fruits also everyday, than you can have breakfast , lunch ...everything is included. Every wish was fullfilled and they walked an extra mile for us. The service was amazing. Maybe its expensive for the first sight , but you have privacy and I was mostly relaxed in that time. There are only four of this cabanas and every day sold out, you can not compare that with the open poolsite cabanas...:D

We are royal princess cruisers ! ---> the Ruby we love her too...

  5. We had been going three times with the Royal Princess.

For those who are interested in December 2014 we did the 11 day Caribic cruise and did rent a cabana inside the Sanctuary for whole day / whole cruise. the price per day was 220 dollar, we only paid for 10 days when we arrived at 12:00 clock at the ship. The service is amazing, and from my opinion its worth every penny.

  6. We did do the UST twice on the Ruby and on the Royal and its worth every cent. Remember there is a limit of 12 person for the UST and you must have a little bit luck to be selected .

At the Princess Theater you begin the Ultimate Ship Tour, a behind-the-scenes look throughout the ship which will last about 3 hours.

You explore the engine control room, medical center, print shop, laundry, photo lab, bridge, and other areas typically seen only by the ship's crew.

Highlight was a tour of the bridge and meeting Captain Dino Sagani, a charismatic and surprisingly young captain who truly seemed to enjoy talking about the intricacies of his new ship.

There is a small buffet prepared enjoy some special refreshments and the captain and later 1. officer is explaining everything about the ship, this was really very interesting. ( you can not compare this with any galleys tour...)

Talking about the robe, its realy smooth high quality but we gave it away as a present.

  7. Their website looks very professionell special trips for cruisers, which tour could you recommend , we want to see something from the city, landscape and perhaps a quite beach, THX Dieter

  8. We have bee cruising on the Royal twice. Because the caribbean islands are not interesting for us,St.Thomas,St.Maarten...:p we booked the cabana for 7 days.

There are only four available , you have to hasten. We had been on a suite so I could come to the sanctuary in time for booking.

All the cruise they where sold out . For the sanctuary cabana I payed 130$ dollar a day -- no discount.:)

For us , it was the money worth, very relaxing all the service about coffee, drinks, food...

    Some pics are available here:

  9. Its called Ulimative Ship Tour it lasts about 3,5 hours and cost 150$ per person.

Even if you apply to the list the first day , it is not sure that you are confirmed to join. WE did the tour twice on the Ruby and now on the Royal Princess. For us it was the money worth ...everybody gets a bathrobe as a present by the way.

You will ventured beyond the public areas for example, ships engine controll room, medical center, print shop, laundry, photo lab and as a highlight you are invited by the captain to the bridge what was absolutley interesting.

    Here its on the Ruby:

All photos are complementary gifts together with beautifull frames.

  10. Dear Princess friends, the Royal Princess is new in the market , we also made a short cruise meanwhile the christening in Southampton and generally we like to cruise with Princess ---specially the Ruby we fall in Love---:D

This new boat only has 36 fill suites and now I also put tons of pics to my first link, hopefully everybody is able to open it ...comments are highly appreciated...:D

Yes we noticed this small balcony and its a fact booking a suite you do not have much perks. Some years ago you had free internet, laundry and some more...now on the Royal Princess you only have the Conciegre Lounge but nothing more.

But nevertheless it was a very relaxing cruise, thanks to the Sanctuary which we where able to book a cabana meanwhile the whole cruise. The service there was awesome and did help a lot to have a very relaxed cruise.

The week befor we had been on the Oasis ( thid time) in a Grand Suite, when I compare this cruise to Princess , the Royal was better in every point...
