Go to Amazon and type in EU outlet adapter. Any one will do. Just make sure whatever you plan to plug into it is dual voltage. EM

Wow. Doesn't sound like they're in the right elevator. I guess they just stay in it until it happens to get assigned to their deck...
Its just that their elevators don’t go to the top…

There isn't even a walking track up top for people that like to do laps outside to get their steps in, what appears at first to be that has gates for yacht club stopping you.
I think Royal are the only ones that allow you right up to the front and not look.Princess grand class does. HAL ships up through Nieuw Amsterdam. Crystal ships (at least Serenity). Carnival Dream and Vista classes. All Cunard ships. EM

Lady and her husband get into the elevator which is going down from 10 til 4. Looks around aimlessly, says “well, what goes up must go down, right? Oh look, this one is going way down to 4 and 3. Guess we just have to wait and ride back up”
it is day 8. Jail.
Summer school.

Or get a henna tattoo. EM

Covered here frequently. Carnival won’t budge. The excursion companies insurance company sets the rules. Maybe you can find a similar independent excursion that will allow. EM

I am of the school that says for perhaps your only cruise to Alaska you should sail on an itinerary that includes Glacier Bay. The major lines that visit there are Princess, HAL and NCL. Why Glacier Bay, you ask? The other glaciers that appear on itineraries are often missed due to ice, but I cannot remember hearing a ship missing Glacier Bay. Hubbard Glacier is equally impressive, but it can be missed, primarily due to fog. Alaska should be for the itinerary, cruise line perks secondary unless you are traveling with children.
You also need to decide if you want to sail round trip from Seattle or one way from Vancouver. I would go to cruisetimetables.com and put in Glacier Bay in ‘cruises to…’. It will tell you who calls there and their itineraries. There is also lots of good advice and experience on the Alaska board here under Ports of Call. EM- 2

And there are those who think they got a scoop, only to find the topic was covered three days before and is not on the bottom of page 2. EM

Paul, ready for a math story problem?
If the French open is 9 hours ahead of PDT, or 6 hours ahead of EDT, and you are watching it at roughly 6pm EDT, then Live coverage should have ended at what time?
Quick answer, long before you were watching it on TV and it was a replay of an earlier match.
That's my hypotenuse
Paris has been inundated with rain so it’s quite possible they were playing past midnight. EM

Possibly only one gala/elegant night. There will always be a white night. Tropical night. 60-70-80-90s. Casual nights. This is from Seashore in Dec. EM

Wearer of booking any cabin labeled as junior. They are going to be smaller/tiny. I particularly noticed on Divina and Preziosa they now categorize the cabins in the bumpout area (that does not exist on the first two Fantasia class) as junior insides, OV, balcony…. We had one of the insides on Divina and indeed it was tiny. This was in 2013. EM

That’s kind of spooky. I think I prefer Spirit and Pride better.

I suspect MSC weighs the flight access for Homeports when moving ships around. With perhaps half of the guests flying from Europe, air is important. And what local attractions might appeal to those guests. They might like Charleston for the history, but not a large airport, and Charleston isn’t interested in a budget cruise line. I think local pressure, complaining that guests were not spending much locally led to them not renewing contract with Carnival. They are happy for the luxury lines to make port calls there.
Jacksonville could handle Lirica class and maybe Musica class depending on air draft. I’m good for Tampa and Mobile…. EM

Thanks, I’m sure I’ll be able to find plenty of opportunities for what I consider Original Sin. (At least for those of us who are diabetic…).
