  1. We have really appreciated all of the RCI crew members we've encountered through our cruises--all seem to be wonderfully attentive, helpful, and genuinely kind people!

We were on the Serenade a few years back and our camera broke. We happened to mention this in front of the concierge (Kenneth) and he loaned us his camera to take out in port. We returned it that evening and he had prints for us by the next day! :) So nice!

  2. Anyone done this cruise before? It goes to St. Maarten, St. Kitts, St. Johns, St. Lucia, and Barbados...

Did you come away the feeling of having been on a nice cruise or were you wore out from being in all the ports and doing activities?

I am mainly replying to join in with the COSOL cheerleaders. LOVE IT! We've done this tour a couple of times. Cosol and his other drivers are very informative and fun. We truly couldn't ask for a better tour or a more beautiful island! :D

    As for the other islands...

We have found St. Maarten to be an easy island to navigate, so renting a car is a great way to pick and choose what you want to do and take it as slowly as you like! Maho Beach is a great beach for relaxing and watching the planes come in. Just be sure to give yourself enough time to drive back in afternoon traffic.

We did Royston's tour in St. Kitts and we loved it. Very relaxing and not at all tiring.

Barbados was lovely, but not our favorite island, so (IMHO) this could be a good day to relax on the ship. Or if you do decide you want out and about, there is a catamaran sail (Calabaza) that is very fun.

All in all, we are always exhausted after these port-intensive itineraries, but it is because we choose to go, go, go! I think if we cut out some of the activities, we'd probably feel a little more relaxed. And we milk the sea day for all it's worth, so we still end the cruise having felt like we enjoyed being at sea.
