Don't mean to hijack this post BUT, so many here received upgrade offers. Just curious, how many Carnival sailings have you sailed? Just wondering if it's something typically reserved for repeat, loyal guests. October cruise will only be our second Carnival cruise. Happy with our extended balcony, but who wouldn't love an upgrade fairy offer for a suite?
I have been on 18 cruises with carnival, I have received 3 upsell offers, although 2 of those have came on my last 2 cruises

Just got off the phone to cancel. Had my deposit refunded. It took my PVP 5 minutes to call me back

We have assigned dining, does this impact the availability to us? I don't know if I'm understanding this correctly. 😐
i was on in October, if I remember right, if you had assigned dining, you had to wait until 8:00 PM, for Cucina and chibang, but you could eat anytime for guys pig and anchor

I was on the Mardi Gras the first week of October. They had a halloween costume contest, and they also had Halloween drinks served at different bars across the ship. They also had a green screen set up to take your pictures and added a horror background on your pictures. They were really cool. We actually bought all of those and didnt buy the normal pictures

Some ship-stuff:
The first photo shows a Port Canaveral fire-suppression vessel (see the water nozzles on the front?) that was stationed aft of Mardi Gras during LNG fueling. It's a bit different than regular bunker fueling; please DON'T smoke on the outside decks.
Second photo is the refuelling vessel itself; it had just blown its whistle and they made the "all-clear" announcement for the upper decks.
Third and fourth photos show the Elation departing on her test cruise. Bon voyage!
Fifth photo shows a casino boat returning before we left, and the sixth photo shows the Independence of the Seas, which has been my home for the 70,000 Tons of Metal cruise six times, now redeployed to P.C. from Port Everglades.
As a metal head myself, just curious how you enjoy the 70,000 tons of metal cruises, My wife and I have always wanted to try it

With the Cheers package, does it include coffee at the coffee bar?

Torn on which ship and itinerary, Quantum seems like a much better ship than Eurodam, but Eurodam goes to glacier bay. I need advice on what to do. Is glacier bay worth going on the smaller ship, or should I go with better ship that doesnt go to glacier bay, but does go to endicott arm and dawes glacier. Thanks

Serenade of the Seas 2 glacier sailings, Vancouver round-trip so no long flight from Anchorage:
Sitka, Juneau, Ketchikan plus Hubbard AND Sawyer Glaciers
This is the one that intrigued me the most when I first looked , but then I kept looking and it all seemed overwhelming.

I have never cruised on royal before, nor have I been to Alaska. I have been on 17 carnival cruises but want to try something different. If anyone has any suggestions about which Alaskan intenary is the best please comment. Thanks in advance

Right? I can already see it.
Passengers arguing and picking fights with crew members about not wanting to wear their mask, it's their right no to wear one, blah blah blah. 🙄
FYI, it is my right not to wear one, as well is everyone right who wants to wear one

Guys the reports say that Florida is still very vulnerable to this Virus. I also read where the kids are starting back to School this week. Not a very good move on Florida's part. Let's pray for Florida.
actually its a great move on Florida part, kids across the country should all be in school. Seems like Florida governor may be one of the best in the country. Kudos to him and his staff

I went on the mardi gras in October, the line was backed out in the road past the parking deck. It took over an hour to get in.
