File a Complaint with the Excursion mgr..
You should get some credit back, and they should re evalyate this tour!
Really not looking for credit. Just wanted to inform cruisers.

Please use the QR code supplied for comments on shore excursions. They need to reconsider this tour.
Where do I find the QR code?

Was that the tour for $56 each. We have that reserved. Thanks for info.
Cruise Critic is a great source of info. Thanks for posting.
No, it was the more expensive one. Hopefully yours will be great!

We did the above ship tour yesterday and it was horrid! The resort was very full so chairs at the pool and beach were few and far between- no sectioned off area for us as in past beach excursions. No umbrellas as advertised- told that because of wind, they don’t have them. Many resorts on the beach used them. Cups and plates left everywhere. Drinks and food included- BUT water given in cups not bottles, only Dominican alcohol brands allowed for our group. Then the food! We ate at the buffet on the beach. I am not a picky eater but this food was inedible. Hamburgers and hot dogs made with some kind of fillers, fried chicken parts cut into small, little pieces. One man on our tour said this was the first $90 lunch of 2 plates of French fries he ever had! This was a pricy tour that Celebrity should be ashamed of offering it to their clientele. Cancel if you can!!

We do have the plus package. Anyone know if we can use that on embarkation day?

Thank you Tom! That gives us some good choices!

We will be joining the Sky Princess in January and I was wondering if anyone knows what restaurants besides the buffet are open during embarkation. Thank you in advance!

Thank you all for your replies. We are not traveling with kids so don’t need water slides😁 we are elite status on Celebrity so will be Diamond on RCL. This is our first cruise with Royal.
I was excited to try Royal and then watched some You Tube reviews that were very unfavorable about the food. Then saw some trip advisor reviews about the cleanliness. So I am very encouraged to hear from all of you. Thank you!!

We have booked a Caribbean cruise in January 2025 on Explorer of the seas based on itinerary, but are having second thoughts based on reviews. Any insight would be appreciated.

Can we transfer our deposit from one cruise to another if we haven’t paid the final yet?

Thank you!!

We are taking the Panama Canal cruise from Los Angeles to Ft Lauderdale in January. Can any one suggest a hotel near the port for the night before embarkation?

Thank you all for the information.

This will be our second Norwegian cruise and I don’t remember about smoking on board the first. Does Norwegian allow any indoor smoking on board it’s ships? I am truly hoping not but want to know upfront.
Thank you!

We disembarked the Enchanted Princess on April 9. By the time I entered my home about 10 hrs later, I had a fever of 101. I immediately did an at home Covid test and was positive. Of the four of us traveling together, 3 of us are positive. My husband has absolutely no symptoms and only showed positive after a pcr test at Walgreens. We wore masks periodically. IMHO, I believe the most contagious onboard location is the casino. I’ve never been in a more poorly ventilated location on a ship. We would stop in during the evening but soon gave it up because of the smoke. Very bad design, Princess!
Btw… I’m on day 9 and feel good! Took Paxlovid from day 4 on.

Thank you all. I hadn't heard of the VC dinner. We will look into that. I also like the surprise dinner ideas. Thanks again!

We are cruising for 12 nights on the Summit and were looking at specialty dining choices. Having done Le Petite Chef twice, we are over it. So that leaves Tuscan and Sushi on Five. Has anyone done the Chefs Table on Summit? We have enjoyed it on other ships.

I sincerely (and avidly!) hope he is correct. Unfortunately he is also the one who led me to believe that as a 65+ year old I would be getting vaccinated starting in December. In my state it could take me until sometime in April. Big difference. I do have a lot of respect for him, but the point is that the best laid and anticipated plans with this vaccine have not exactly come to pass as promised. But I will continue to hope for the best!
Live in the suburbs of Chicago too! Lots of 65+ friends are getting vaccines this week through Jewel Osco. Try this site to make appt- mhealthappointsment.com
Good luck!

We are excited to join Edge in a couple of week and have booked the 3 night specialty restaurant package. As I’m not familiar with any of the choices (did Qsine twice- cute but done!), can anyone give us suggestions for our three?

Thank you for all who replied. I am so disappointed that this is no longer available. I will research other ship and land options.
