I am not seeing the Dubai/India cruise being offered in 2021. Does anyone know why this was discontinued?

Can we bring our own electric kettles to heat water for tea? The only time I’ve seen them provided in the rooms was a Norwegian fjord Cruise.

We did this last winter and it was so fun! First week on Celebrity, second on Princess. Both were out of Ft. Lauderdale so Ubered to the new pier. We just looked for great prices in the Caribbean that ended and began on the same day. I'd do it again in a minute!

We will be on the Getaway on Sept 2-9. As I read the boards, I have questions for anyone who will answer-

1- What is Vibe?

2- Is there anywhere to eat lunch on the first day besides the buffet?

3-Should we make dinner reservations at the specialty restaurants before the cruise?

4- What is the bidding process everyone is talking about?

5- Really-no water included in the beverage pkg?

6-Do you make reservations for the shows? How do you do that when on the ship.

Thank you to anyone answering. We are elite on Celebrity but were offered a great deal on an inside cabin on NCL so thought we would try it out!

We will be on the Island Princess --in 1 month--we will let you know our experience--taking the Island from Whittier to Vancouver--Aug 23rd--30th--we are excited--2nd cruise--1st on Princess--we will have a great time no matter what!!

We will be joining you on this cruise following the 8 day Connoisseur land tour! I'm with you, GrandmaLUU- we will have a great time!

Thank you to all of you who took the time to post! We do not have one of the new cabins so I won't experience the good or the bad of that. I will say we had a mini on the Diamond on a cruise in Asia and the vibrations were horrible!! We did get moved so the trip was great after that.

I feel so much better- especially because we invited friends. Thanks again!! So relieved;p

We are booked on the 15 day cruisetour in Alaska in August. We sailed on the Island a few years back through the Panama Canal and loved it. As I didn't research which ship to take already knowing the Island, I am so discouraged by the refit I am hearing about:rolleyes: And, of course, we have invited friends to join us telling them how much we enjoyed the ship.

If anyone is on the Island now or has been recently, can you give me any hope for a reasonable experience??

Looking for a hotel near the port before our South America cruise. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

We booked with a travel agent on our cruise to New Zealand/Australia that was last month. About 2 weeks before the cruise, our TA received an offer for us to move from a veranda room to Aqua!! No upcharge! We almost fell over! Yes, we took it! Never happened before to us- hope it happens again sometime:)

We are joining the Buenos Aries-Santiago cruise next March and are looking for tour advice to Iquazu Falls. Anyone plan one lately? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

We booked the South American Buenos Aires to Santiago cruise for March 2018 and I just finished reading several reviews. Infinity is getting blasted although everyone seemed to like the itinerary. Thinking maybe we should reschedule for the following year when the Eclipse (I think) sails there. Thoughts???
