We have sailed on RCCL, NCL and Celebrity. We want to go on another cruise in May or June of this year and wanted to go on RCCL. We love the big beautiful ships with all the activities. I've been wanting to do a cruise on an Oasis or Quantum class, however we are having a hard time finding an itin and cabin location that we want.

There are no other cruise lines that can match RCCL for ships in those classes right? We aren't looking for a sedate laid back relaxing cruise, we are looking for as many activities as we can find - including night life and shows. We really found the night life and shows on both NCL and Celebrity, well, awful, compared to RCCL (for out tastes, I know many people enjoyed the shows, but they didn't cater to our tastes).

Should I persevere until I find something with RCCL or is there another cruise line/ship I should consider?

Hi everyone, haven't been on here in a few years because we haven't cruised since 2013. I'm looking to book something for May or June of this year. Just wondering if you guys think there is any value going through a TA (no I'm not looking for recommendations lol) or it it just as well to book directly with RCCL? It used to be that you could get better deals going through a TA, but I'm not seeing that this time. I'm also not seeing that they have access to rooms that RCCL doesn't have. I remember years ago the agencies would books blocks of rooms (like hotels) but I'm not seeing that anymore.

Just wondering what your thoughts are on this, am I just wasting my time with agencies. Thanks.

We loved him. He cracked me up. Much better entertainer than the Cruise Director which is kind of sad. I think it's fine to be funny and a Captain - we thought it was a breath of fresh air.

This looks like something I would love to try, but do they scale back the portions for 2 people? I'd hate to see a lot of food go to waste, and equally I'd hate to get filled up on the first course. Did you see any couples there by themselves?

We are going on Celebrity in May and was wondering what we should do. We did Naples with NCL a few years ago and did the ship's excursion to the Amalfi Coast/Sorrento.

Yes they are. My 17 year old daughter had the classic package last March and could get any 'virgin' cocktail as well as other specialties and smoothies they offered.

So, just trying to figure out with this 123 package what we should do.

I don't drink alcohol at all, but my DH does. He loves the specialty beers and I love sparkling water, so in a perfect world (or cruise) the Premium Drink package would work for him and the Premium Non-Alcohol Package would work for me.

BUT since we both have to pick the same package, the Classic looks like the best compromise - no point in me paying for the Premium Alcohol package just to get sparking water, and he can "make do" with the cheaper beers.

What I would like to know though is this - does anyone know if mocktails or virgin drinks are allowed as part of the classic package? Like "virgin" pina coladas, etc? They are my favorite drinks at night so I feel like I have something special to drink onboard instead of just Diet Coke and water. What about club soda with a splash of cranberry juice? I would have been OK with sparkling water, but that's not included.

Does anyone know?

9243 is the same as 9298 but on the opposite side.

Enjoy a better location of 9294 and save $100+ per person (to spend on specialty restaurants, etc.).

OMG I think my head is going to explode!!! I just finished looking through all 23 pages of this thread to see if there is a picture of 9243 on Silhouette.

We have to put our deposit down tomorrow and right now we have 9294 on hold - which I found info and pictures on.

9294 is a 1A, we can get 9243 for $100 more per person - it's a C2. I just don't know which one to book, which is why I was hoping for a pic of 9243 to see if that would sway me.

Amazing pics in this thread for sure!!! I love the pics of 9294 - at least I feel comfortable booking that based on the photos I've seen.
