  1. not correct.

For a 20 day b2b booked as a single booking no. (two 10 day voyages), you will receive 2 cruise credits, 1 for each leg. Credits are doubled for full suites and single occupancy passengers.

We always book a B@B as a single cruise. We have always received credits for 2 cruises including mini bar set up twice. Never asked about it it just showed up as 2 cruises. I know we got ours so someone doesn't know what there talking about which isn't unusual on here. Last was in Apr.

  2. If you had a smooth cruise it was the weather and sea state not the ship. Some ships are a little better but theirs not much of a difference. If the seas are ruff the ship will go up and down and rock there is no way to stop it. A submarine would be the only smooth place under the water. There's no such thing as a ship that is smooth all the time.

  3. People should check there (FAQ) first to see if they can find the answer there. I can't think of a question that would not be in there. If you can't find it thats fine ask away but put some effort in.

  4. Some people any little noise or vibration will be a bigger deal then to others. There is no noise or vibration free area on a moving ship. We aren't bothered by this ir we don't notice them. We always stay aft and have never had a problem with sleeping or relaxing in our room. You will here thrusters when docking but it only lasts a few minutes. If small things bother you stay mid ship on a floor with rooms above and below is the best.

  5. Check with Princess platinum coverage if you have cruised with them enough to get the upgraded coverage. Were Canadian and use there coverage, check there pre-existing conditions I think its 90 days, also you can cancel for any reason. We have had to use it once and it worked fine. We also have other coverage from work and credit cards. Be sure to understand the fine print. Some companys won't cover you if you buy the insurance after paying the deposit for the cruise. We have shopped around and prices seem pretty close, make sure to compare what each company's break down of coverage is. Getting air lifted off a cruise ship is very expensive, also some foreign counties demand payment up front like a visa card. We also have med jet which will get you home once you are well enough to travel.

  6. I cannot speak for CCL but other drips that I am party to actually issue partial shares based on the drip amount.

I just checked with with my brokerage which is TD Waterhouse in Canada, they don't issue partial shares. Any dividend money buys full shares and any cash left over goes into account.

  7. The beam is no problem. On Emerald & Dolphin deck it is on one side and if the sun is to much for you you can get behind it and have shade. You have 2 doors out to the balcony a table 4 chairs , 2 loungers and a small table. Its big and great for having the UBD. We always stay in the aft suites and i can't figure out why people call it the dreaded beam, most who do have never stayed in the cabin.

  8. I bought my shares a long time ago when they were about $24.00 for one reason only cruising, not as a stock investment. I don't really care what they do as far as the market is concerned. 100 shares will never change my life. When we decide not to cruise anymore I will sell the shares. I've got more out of them with OBC and dividends then what they change in value.

  9. The last couple cruises the MDR menu has been below par. We have not carried for most the selections and food has not been good. On a 15 day cruise we only ate 3 times in the MDR and we did not think much of it. Also we don't eat in the buffet ever. Thats how we feel. It has changed in the last few years. We enjoy balcony dinning, chefs table, all the specialty restaurants, salty dog, vines for a light selection with wine and international caffee

  10. I don't care if I'm first what makes me mad is the people that worm there way ahead of you pushing a little trying to get on board 30 seconds before you. That is the worst part of getting on the ship. Being in the priority line is worse. On my last cruise there was more shoving and maneuvering and trying to get to the front, with people that had just arrived ignoring the people that were first in line. i laughed when they all rushed to the wrong exit of the room thinking that was the front of the line. Then when we got up stairs to the next waiting area is was worse again. To many ignorant people for me. I can't believe how a few minutes difference can make people that aggressive. If everybody behaved it would be a much better experience.

  11. I don't use them on my Princess cruises. Only one person in a cabin has to buy drink packages. Plus the in room bottle prices are half of Carnival. Also Princess has a great happy hour. So no need to smuggle.

Princess liquor bottles are smaller, can't remember the differences but the prices are close. Rum runners are not invisible, they show up on X-ray machines really well. I know people who have been caught using them. They will never be able to catch everyone, they just don't have the man power or the time, not like TSA inspectors otherwise it wouldn't be safe to fly.

We get the cheers package but also get a bottle of Crown for the room, Its easy to stock up on a few beers in the room, but running up to get a drink for the DW while relaxing on the balcony is just to inconvenient.

  12. If your cruise price didn't go up after switching to the sip & sale you paid to much for your cruise to start with. They inflate the prices before they advertise the sip and sale. Then you think your getting a deal. Just because you didn't have to pay more doesn't mean you got a deal. These cruise prices will drop more then the sip and sale will cost as it gets closer the the cruise.

  13. All the sip and sale prices are inflated that I have checked. They inflate some prices before the sale is announced and it looks like it is free. So you paid more for your cruise then you should have and they bring out the package, which they new they were going to do and your price stays the same and you think you got a deal. These promos are planned a long time in advance, they don't give anything away.

  14. Got to do the tour on our last cruise. We had tried 3 times previously and they did not do the tour because not enough people signed up. It is well worth the $150, the best value on the ship. We got the apron instead of the coat which was better as far as I'm concerned. Maybe they have changed and are giving aprons now. We didn't get to the funnel which was not big deal. Everything else was very interesting, getting to see the forward mooring station and being explained how they go about tying up the ship was the best part for me.
