We had our known travel numbers the next day.
-
Currently booked on the Conquest in October, final payment due in July. Slightly concerned that we may not sail - has anyone had any luck having their final payment moved closer to their sail date (is that a thing?)
-
We stayed at the Marriott Biscayne and had some great views of port, also the Holiday Inn Port of Miami has nice views. I dont think either had balconies.
-
Currently booked under the Early Saver Rate, just recieved a Casino offer - can I submit a price adjustment for the difference?
Next question - if I can and I move to the Casino Offer, if there is another sale down the road can I submit again? I believe once on early saver always early saver???

we have stayed on the lido deck twice on the Horizon - its a great location! And we never heard any noise, they close the doors at night when there is a movie or a party going on.
-
We always stay on Deck 10 - close to the pools, buffets, bars, etc. and if you are out by the pool and forget something you are close to your room to go get it!
They will close the hallway doors when they have a party or show a movie at night. We have never been bothered by any noise.

I am also looking for the same date and running into the same issue, hoping that I am just looking too early!

Its on the Horizon, at lunch time on sea days only.

We have used SAS several times.

We love the Alchemy Bar at night!

We loved the Alchemy bar at night, the salad bar on the Serenity Deck on sea days is amazing. We were also surprised at how good the italian restaurant was - we typically avoid them since we can have good italian at home, but it was definitately worth trying.

I called on Satruday to re-book, after a long discussion and invovling a supervisor, I was able to have my deposit transferred to my new booking. My PVP insisted that my deposit had been credited to my orginal payment, but I had not received it.

When you check in at the port they will apply the gift cards for you, this will avoid you having to stand in the LONG lines at guest services when you board.
Also, no need to provide a credit card unless you want to.

Hi
If you are visiting Maho beach please leave at least 3- 2 hours or more before sailing time. I went on the symphony to Maho Beach on December originally I was planning on visting a beach near to port cant remember the name but last minute some family members booked last minute and we changed the beach to Maho Beach. The taxi driver was going to pick me up to return and Im glad we accepted his offer, there were no taxis at all to come back and it took the driver almost 2 hours to get to the port. I originally wanted to go no orient beach but I was scare on going because I was told there were no taxis around and guess what there were no a single taxi at Maho Beach. Its a great beach but Im not really going back to that beach because traffic is terrible in the afternoon and no taxis are around
was there an accident that caused a delay?

We are sailing the end of Feb and booked our flights about 2 weeks ago after searching and searching for good prices. Check every day, multiple times a day.

Anyone try to use the find iPhone app while on the value plan?

Looking for a recommendation for a beach near the cruise port, DH will be scuba diving and I would like to spend time on the beach but need to tell him where to meet me when he is done, any suggestions?
-
Any recommendations for a public beach that has restrooms and food?
-
thank you so much!!!!!
Never been to Jack's (yet! ;) ), but for non-AI beach clubs the most often suggested are Paradise Beach and Money Bar.PB charges $3 admission/char rental and offers water toys for an added fee (about $15). It offers great facilities, lots of chairs and shade, nice beach, HUGE pool, and good food, drinks and service - the nachos there are great! ;) Taxi for up to 4 passengers each way will be about $17+tip
Money Bar offers no beach, but good snorkeling from the shore, a sandy area for sunning/relaxing, good facilities, rental gear if needed, good food/drinks/service, and no admission fee. Taxi each way will be about $12+tip and MB offers a great happy hour and sunsets if your ship is staying late.
Check these boards as well as Trip Advisor for reviews. Mitsugirly is a frequent poster who has photo intensive reviews of both (and other Cozumel spots) linked in her signature.
Good luck and please come back after your cruise and let us know what you chose and h ow it worked out.

We are flying to FLL and will be renting a caravan from Avis for $75 for the night, staying in Miami. Avis has a shuttle to the POM.

UTV on your own?
in Aruba

We just did this in October, we rented from Ruff Riders. Our UTV's were waiting for us right outside the port, we drove all over the island, stopped for as long as we wanted where we wanted. We created a list of places we wanted to see ahead of time and used Google Maps to get around.
