  1. Have been waiting for this trip to the Panama for a while and would now really appreciate your advice. We had booked Aqua class on Infinity on deck 11. Cabin looked great, though there was some discussion about movie nights and suite being right by a door. Knowing all the benefits we had with AQ....and I was really looking forward to trying Blu....I've jumped to Family-view suite 7199. The reason? Larger suite for sure, but for me it's going from a 40 foot balcony to almost 240 feet on the Aft-particularly for the Panama canal and the sea days. Did I do the right thing? Can probably re-book AQ as there are still quite a few suites available. Have been on Celebrity many times before but most cabins being CC

  2. My husband and I are looking to extend our Panama cruise by a week on either end. The cruise departs from San Diego in November and arrives 15 days later in Fort Lauderdale. Our thought in Florida, was to rent a car and drive to Naples for a week. Have researched threads on short term stays already. Any thoughts or ideas on where to stay for a week or so, would be gratefully appreciated!:)

  3. Just booked a Panama cruise on Infinity and this time decided to try Aqua class over Consierge. Would love any advice, or favorites or ????

Am very excited to try Blu, so if you have any dishes that you particularly enjoyed and would recommend, please pass them on.

Many awesome friendships have developed over the years with new friends by "eating together" at dinner, does this happen in Blu too?

  4. Just about to book suite 1100 for the Panama and have very much appreciated the sticky with all the wonderful advice on the cabins. Initially these cabins were recommended, but recently there has been some reservations about the noise re the outside movie theater. Two questions....are the movies played nightly? And secondly, we've always booked Concierge cabins, is there much of a difference with Aqua class?

  5. Thanks everyone!! Decided to wait and try another time. With both of us retired now, we have the leisure of not always having to travel with everyone else around school holidays...which I'm very much looking forward too!!

Just got excited when I saw all the amazing deals!!! Have an elderly dog who is sadly terminal and the June date was attractive that way, as it's still a ways off.

  6. Just retired from 34 years teaching and wanting to do something a little different! Have been long time Celebrity cruisers, and have heard wonderful things about Oceania and would love to check it out (particularly the food!:D)

Have been looking at the Panama Canal sailings and the only one available to book now with a suite is June 6 LA to Miami. Any thoughts on what that might be like? I've read that October to April is optimal....
