Thanks everyone. It is on the Infinity and the FV cabin we have is aft and right on the corner. A wrap around view almost!! We had already bought the 4 perks for a fairly decent price earlier on this year. That being said, it is just the two of us, and we have never been in a suite before. Is the CS that much bigger than the FV? What are the additional perks for a CS?

We currently have family verandah booked for out Panama Canal cruise in November. A Celebrity suite (8104) has become available, and we are able to upgrade for a fairly good price considering. Should I stay with the huge balcony with the Family Suite, or try out the suite life? Love any opinions! We normally book Concierge class cabins.

I so agree with all of the positive comments on this thread. So very very informative and the photos are the BEST!! Thanks too for the advice on the family veranda stateroom. Invaluable information for sure and it has greatly increased our anticipation for our Panama voyage in November. Aquaclass will have to wait for another time. ;)

Thanks everyone for all the wonderful comments! I really was second guessing myself and your reassurance has been so amazing indeed. And the photos are so so awesome- really helps to put things in perspective. :D Our cruise is not until November 8, but we're counting the days. Again, many many thanks!

We're on Infinity for this cruise through the Panama. Are these photos from Eclipse? (gorgeous once again I must say!)Hopefully our view will be close to that!

Oh I'm doing a "happy dance" right now!!! Thank you so much to all who responded so quickly. I was beginning to totally second guess myself. Totally love the photo and that amazing view. :)

Have been waiting for this trip to the Panama for a while and would now really appreciate your advice. We had booked Aqua class on Infinity on deck 11. Cabin looked great, though there was some discussion about movie nights and suite being right by a door. Knowing all the benefits we had with AQ....and I was really looking forward to trying Blu....I've jumped to Family-view suite 7199. The reason? Larger suite for sure, but for me it's going from a 40 foot balcony to almost 240 feet on the Aft-particularly for the Panama canal and the sea days. Did I do the right thing? Can probably re-book AQ as there are still quite a few suites available. Have been on Celebrity many times before but most cabins being CC

We have booked 1100 for a Panama cruise in November. By looking at the deck plan, it's hard to tell if there is a door right there. Anybody have any idea?

My husband and I are looking to extend our Panama cruise by a week on either end. The cruise departs from San Diego in November and arrives 15 days later in Fort Lauderdale. Our thought in Florida, was to rent a car and drive to Naples for a week. Have researched threads on short term stays already. Any thoughts or ideas on where to stay for a week or so, would be gratefully appreciated!:)

Wow everyone!! Thanks so much for the wonderful information!! Went back and forth between trying Oceania, as this is my "retirement" trip,.... but we are and have been very loyal to Celebrity. In fact haven't been on anything else!
We're on deck 11 on Infinity for the Panama cruise and can hardly wait.:D

Just booked a Panama cruise on Infinity and this time decided to try Aqua class over Consierge. Would love any advice, or favorites or ????
Am very excited to try Blu, so if you have any dishes that you particularly enjoyed and would recommend, please pass them on.
Many awesome friendships have developed over the years with new friends by "eating together" at dinner, does this happen in Blu too?

Thanks everyone! Booked and happy! Looking forward to trying out Blu.:)

Sorry wrong choice of words...I knew that. Suites were indeed sold out.:(

Just about to book suite 1100 for the Panama and have very much appreciated the sticky with all the wonderful advice on the cabins. Initially these cabins were recommended, but recently there has been some reservations about the noise re the outside movie theater. Two questions....are the movies played nightly? And secondly, we've always booked Concierge cabins, is there much of a difference with Aqua class?

Thanks everyone!! Decided to wait and try another time. With both of us retired now, we have the leisure of not always having to travel with everyone else around school holidays...which I'm very much looking forward too!!
Just got excited when I saw all the amazing deals!!! Have an elderly dog who is sadly terminal and the June date was attractive that way, as it's still a ways off.

That might be why the suite is so reasonable! How hot is hot?? Is there any shade on suite balconies (Sirena)?

Just retired from 34 years teaching and wanting to do something a little different! Have been long time Celebrity cruisers, and have heard wonderful things about Oceania and would love to check it out (particularly the food!:D)
Have been looking at the Panama Canal sailings and the only one available to book now with a suite is June 6 LA to Miami. Any thoughts on what that might be like? I've read that October to April is optimal....
Tough decision....Family Veranda or upgrade to Celebrity suite 8104?
