Any suggestions on good excurisions for our May 14th cruise? We start in Athens, do Santorini, Mykonos and Chania, then go up the Amalfi coast, Rome, Florence and Nice. I have never been and would love some suggestions on good excursions.Anything I should avoid? We are healthy enough to do some good walking but love a good driving tour also. Up for anything unique, Love anything to do with cooking/food also.  Thank you!

Just doing some research for insurance coverage when we cruise in May. Does anyone have insight to whether cruisecare is available to Canadians and whether it is worth it or are there other options you would recommend? Also, we just tried booking flights through ChoiceAir and it is available to Canadians but same flights come out much more expensive than booking through the airline (Air Canada). Am I missing something?

Ok, thanks everyone for your input! Phil, do you think either side is better for viewing the coast as we cruise? Or are we even close enough to shore to see the land? If so, would it be better to view the greek islands or the Amalfi coast? Sorry, I'm just a big detail person.....

Good point about the sunnyside in 7096. I am blonde and blue eyes so I tend to hide from the sun and always looking for shade.  It seems we leave Athens and for the first couple of ports we are facing the ports. Then as we go into Italy we will be looking out more into the water.

I don't plan on using the laundry but worry about it being noisy. 

Ah, yes, you are right Ithikan. I am thinking of Spinalonga. I am wondering if anyone has done a tour there from Crete which we will also be visiting. Or is it even worth seeing?

We currently have cabin 7096 reserved for the Pursuit. There are also a few rooms left on the opposite side on deck 6. For experienced cruisers which room would you choose at this late date? 7096 on the starboard side (I think) or 6053 on the port side? This is for the May 14th cruise. Thanks so much!

This all sounds great. We are on our way to book! Deck 5 looks perfect. 

Phil I worry about the crowds in Santorini also. How do you know about the crowds that day? We will get off the boat regardless, as I am excited about this part of the itinerary. 

Thank you Host Grandma! I appreciate the information, especially about the weather. I have another question. I do like a promenade deck and remember on the Disney cruise walking along and looking and listening to the water, especially in the evening.  I know this ship doesn't have a promenade deck but are there places to sit, stand or stroll around where I would find this?

My husband and I are going on a 9 day cruise for our 20th anniversary. We have zoned in on this cruise. We are early 50s, love to learn about other places, explore, and love good food and moscow mules! What can I expect on this cruise in terms of age demographic, weather, or other things? We have done two other cruises, one with Carnival when we first met and another Disney cruise with our two sons. No desire to do either of those types of cruises anymore. I'm nervous about a smaller boat, and comment that says the ship goes to sleep at 10. I also worry that we won't fit in as we don't seem to fit the typical '20 cruises under my belt' category.   I can't find any reviews on this itinerary but may not be looking in the right places. Has anyone done this cruise with Azamara before? I know this will be a dream trip for me but can you assure me?
