Thankx- this is helpful. Do you know if these mini buses are at the dock? Or should I try to contact a company before?
after the caves we’ll probably split up & take buses to wherever we want to go.
there are 10 of us, but not sure how many will want to go to the caves.

We will be in Bermuda Oct 7th & 8th
Has anyone taken one of the shuttles or taxis waiting at Dockyard to go to the Crystal Caves?
Do you remember the price? Do you remember if there are large shuttles vans for 8-10 people?
My other choice would be to take the ferry to Hamilton & a taxi to the caves. Can we pay the fare on the ferry? or do we need tokens before getting on the ferry?
THANKX

We will be in Bermuda in October & a few of us want to do some fishing. We are not looking to CHARTER the whole boat for a full or half day.
We would just like to book 3 or 4 of us on a fishing trip.
Any recommendations?
I remember seeing signs along the dock in Hamilton for fishing excursions. Does anyone have experience just walking up to these boats and going out fishing? I usually do a lot of research on things, but there is no way to research these. I seem to be only finding fishing charters - to charter the whole boat.
any thoughts and / or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thank You

For those of you who have already sailed on the Symphony out of Miami, do you know what the early dining time is? I looked it up & it said 6:15, but I want to check. On another cruise, I was told that the 6:15 was the early time when the ship was sailing from a European port & when it sailed from the US, it was 5:15.
THANK YOU!

I don't know who you spoke to, but if it wasn't I would contact the "Pre-Cruise Planner Dept." at (800) 398-9819.
It WAS the pre cruise planning dept- scary that I could not get a correct answer there [emoji15]

I think, as usual, some RCL reps. don't know what is going on. First of all the Solarium Bistro is a free venue unless they throw in a lobster or fillet mignon. I doubt JR is an option.
When I mentioned to him that Solarium Bistro was free- he challenged me & then went to check - that was when I was disconnected. guess that was better than having to tell me I was right? :D:D

Here is my question & hope someone will have some input. I am booked on the Anthem for August. This will be my 3rd or 4th time on the Anthem & in the past, if we wanted a speciality restaurant, we would see what was avail & book on board. This time we booked the 3 night speciality package. (one night we will have dinner in in Hamilton & another night Coastal Kitchen) We are sailing with 2 other couples who are a little more picky than we are & here is my question.
If you have purchased the 3 night dining package where have they assigned you for the first night. I called RCCL dining reservations & they were no help at all. I asked what options RCCL would choose from to assign the first night & the guy I spoke to listed Johnny Rockets & Solarium Bistro as some of the options. I stated that DID NOT want to go to Johnny Rockets & Solarium Bistro was complimentary. He put me on hold to check & then I was disconnected.
As far as I can tell, the choices would be Chops, Jamie's Italian & Wonderland? (& maybe Izumi, but that is ala carte pricing) is this correct? & if you tried to change your first night & add your other 2 nights, was it difficult to get your date & time?
Thankx

Just got off the Anthem - we had a "sea class" cabin. No reservations needed or accepted for the Coastal Kitchen. We went in for dinner our last nite of a 5 day cruise at about 6:00. guests came in slowly & when we left approx. 7:30 the restaurant was about 1/2 filled.
Our sea pass was a lighter blue & had a bit of a different design than usual.
Hope this helps.

Hi Cruisers: just a couple questions from any cruisers using new suite class this month:1. read from a couple post they were using different color Seas Pass for each of the three cats. of suite packages. any info yet.
2. on Seas class where only dinner in Coastal, can the reservations be made in advance, or only on board. how was occupancy the first couple nights?
Thanks for any info you can share. Bob & Nancy The Villages, Florida

Liberty of the Seas
Liberty of the Seas will not be able to call on Kings Warf, Bermuda as originally scheduled. Instead, the ship will sail to St. John, Canada in an effort to ensure guests have a safe and comfortable cruise.
If you have not done so already, we strongly suggest guests complete their online check-in as soon as possible, including the section requesting your preferred method of contact while traveling. You can access online check-in at

MS411 - Can't remember the name, but it was a resort & restaurant. Wish we had told him that it was too early for our lunch - ship time was an hour earlier than his time - so we were not ready for lunch. Would have rather had lunch in town after he dropped us off. there are several little alleys with nice shops & restaurants. There was a local place Gladys' restaurant that looked nice.

Hi does anyone have a current phone number for Stanley. I called athe number on page 1 and got a recording that says number is unassigned!? Help please
We took our tour with Stanley & we were very disappointed. We did see some good picture taking spots, etc. but we did not even get to Blackbeard's Castle. He said something about the ferry to St John's. We though we would be on the ferry - but all he did was point to it as we drove by.
He told us we would stop at a place for lunch with "local food" We were there for 1 1/2 hours. food was less than "OK" & hardly local - club sandwich & burgers. Service was terrible & VERY SLOW..(there was only one other table occupied when we were there) Turned out his son owned the restaurant. that stop for lunch - when we were not even hungry was a waste of time. On the phone he gave me one price - but at the end of the tour he gave us a higher price. VERY disappointed - Stanley was a nice guy but spoke very softly & we could barely hear him. gave no history of the city, etc. I am afraid that Stanley may be getting on in years and not able to give the tours he used to give.
Sorry I booked with Stanley - & would not recommend him.

Just wondering - has anyone ever just walked off the ship & taken a taxi tour with one of the MANY taxi's waiting at the pier? What should we look for or beware of?
Cost per person??
thankx for your input & comments.

Thanks to everyone for their suggestions. I think we will reserve Bernard's Tour #1. I have been on the Roll Call for this cruise, but can you tell me how to register for the Meet and Mingle. Looking forward to meeting all of you onboard.

You're quite welcome!
Just a great option having Stanley providing private tours for such a reasonable rate. We enjoyed our time with him and just wanted to share with others as we haven't seen anyone else recommending Stanley. He does it part time but is a very nice gentleman and takes good care of you.
I just spoke with Stanley & reserved a date & time- I asked him if there would be other people on the tour & he said that there could be 6 to 8 others since his van can accommodate 10 people.
How many people were in your private tour? we are only 2 people so maybe that is why he will want to add others to the tour?
