We have been on 3 carnival cruises and have 2 more booked. My hairdresser has been on 2. They got the offer but we didn't although she did share the code with me. Had it been a permanent upgrade offer we probably would have done it, especially since one of our cruises is a 15 day Hawaii. Since it's only a one time offer, and during the most expensive time of the year I think we will pass. Trying hard to get to Platinum though.

Our kids have ID's but aren't required to wear or show them. I doubt my kids know where their's are. Good luck OP.

I always take mine (need to use it) and pack it in my checked bags. So far no problem. I also take a CPAP and get an extension cord for it. The extension cord along with an outlet strip really helps. My side of the bed usually looks like a mini hospital room.

Family style dining restaurants are common here in the South so as long as my table mates are pawing the food I don't mind sharing. What's the difference between sharing in the MDR and sharing at the buffet? My concern is with the lack of table cloths are the tables not wet after they have been wiped from the previous guests? I hate that when I go to a restaurant to eat.
Also, wasn't too thrilled with the food on the Dream and hoping maybe these new changes will be a plus food wise.

Thanks I will keep looking. I don't check daily but every few days. I was thinking the magical number was a year out. Are you on the roll call CarnieAddict?

We are booked on a cruise in Jan 2015. When will Carnival post the excursions and open FTTF? Never booked one so far out. :(

I would imagine it will be on in the bar in the Casino if not on the big screen. There were quite a few games on two weeks ago when we cruised.

We just got off the Dream on the 23rd and used it. We flew Air Tran (booked through Southwest) and had 2 checked bags. Because SW allows 2 free bags per person we only did luggage express for one of us, saving us $20. When my husband checked in at the airport for our flight we had adjoining seats already assigned. My only concern was if my bags would meet me in Atlanta. They did. We virtually did self assist off the ship. Got up, ate breakfast and when ready lined up to get off the ship. We were off the ship in minutes. No meeting a group/shared bus ride etc.
Hoping to use it in the future if possible.

I was not on this cruise but my DD came down with something when we were cruising. I got hit with it right after we got home. Don't know if it was officially NV but you are right, you think you are dying and wish you would. I had no idea she felt that bad and I had terrible mommy guilt on top of NV deathwish. Not fun.

I am almost to the end of what you have so far but I wanted to add my thanks to all the others.
We leave on the Conquest in a week and this thread has really helped me familiarize myself with what's available.
I haven't seen this asked yet and forgive me if I haven't gotten to it yet, but what do they show on the movie screen?
Thanks.
Why use a PVP?
in Carnival Cruise Lines
Posted
We have just started using a PVP. There was a price drop and when we called Carnival to get a price adjustment we would have lost OBC we got when booking. Our PVP was able to get us the lower fare and kept our OBC. They can also alert you to other sales etc. It doesn't cost me anything to use them and if they can help me while making their living why not?
