We usually come out ahead when we play and one time I won 2000.00 on a chili pepper game on the first spin. We allocate a certain amount and if we start losing we stop awhile and pick it back up the next day. You have to be smart...some people stay on machines just dumping money because they think it will eventually hit. If you play like that you will lose money. We usually have better luck on cruise ships then at Harrahs when we go and we go there several times/year.

I would suggest having the son miss the last day of school and just drive down. Unless he is in attendance trouble it is not a big deal and I speak as a teacher. I had 7 out of 18 that were not at school on the last day. We drove several times when the kids were little and the times are great memories for them. We are driving with them as adults in July to PC from Asheville and they are looking forward to the road trip. We have been on the Breeze and loved her...no complaints at all. We also drove all the way to Miami one time. I can't remember much about the slides etc, mine were big enough to do them then.

Thanks Splintz Yes I meant for slots..we do not play table games. I was going to get cash but for the extra 100.00 seems to make sense to do the cards. I just did not want to lose the money if we won and didnt have to gamble it all :)

I want to purchase the discounted cards thru verizon and have a couple questions. I want to be able to use them for our casino spending. Can I do this without any trouble? If we get 1000.00 for 900.00 and do not spend it all do they refund the money on the ship or how does that work? Thanks
