  1. I checked mine on my last cruise in December. They delivered it straight to my room and hung them up for me. The only negative was that one of my hangers slipped back into the bag and one of my shirts got wrinkled. More my fault than anything, but if I were to do it again I might zip tie all the hangers together so that doesn't happen.

  2. National does provide a shuttle with the other car agencies. When you return your car, advice the National employee that you want the transfer and s/he will provide with you a receipt to take with you.

I will say however the shuttle was PACKED with bags and people going to anyone of the 5 ships in port that day. If you have the spare time I'd advise drop your bags off at the port first and then just use the shuttle to drop you off there too.

  3. So basically you're saying, if I am 18 years old, I can sail with a 25 year old even if they are not my legal guardian?

Also, one more question, what kind of vaccinations do i need to sail to cozumel, mexico, if any? And how would they even check if i got my vaccinations?

Each line has different age requirements. Some say those under 21, have to sail with someone over 25 if not with parents or a spouse. Some say everyone in a cabin has to be over 21. Disney (and a couple others) will let anyone over 18 sail with anyone over the age of 18.

    RCCL policy states:

No Guest younger than the age twenty-one (21) will be assigned to a stateroom unless accompanied in the same stateroom by an adult twenty-one (21) years old or older. A guest's age is established upon the first date of sailing.

  4. What this fails to address is that in March when East coast observes daylight savings and clocks go forward Quintana Roo will be one hour behind east coast USA until the fall.

For the foreseeable future Quintana Roo will not change time again ie will not observe daylight savings.

Definitely true, but there is the advantage of being on the same time zone as many of the other major cruise destinations in the Western Caribbean year round.

  5. East Coasters will no longer need to adjust their watches when they touch down in Cancun.

On Feb. 1, the Mexican state of Quintana Roo, which includes Cancun, and the popular cruise ports of Cozumel and Playa del Carmen, will switch from Central Standard Time to Eastern Standard Time. The change comes after two years of government and tourism industry efforts.

The change, the Cancun CVB said, "will mean the destination will gain added sunlight each day, which according to hoteliers and service providers in Cancun, will result in economic benefits, as tourists will enjoy extra time on the beaches, consume more at restaurants and cafes, and spend longer time in parks and excursions found in and around the destination."

Putting the state in the same time zone as some of it's biggest feeder markets -- including New York, Atlanta and Miami -- could also improve airline connectivity.

“Cancun is excited to welcome this time change, which will allow our visitors to take advantage of one more hour in our beautiful destination,” said Jesus Almaguer, CEO of the Cancun CVB, in a statement. “The added sunlight should also generate reductions in electricity use for hotels and restaurants in the area, which aligns with Cancun’s turquoise conservation initiative.”

  6. Not so funny ;) .

I wasn't having a Psychic Friends moment, I was looking at the embedded image tags to see what settings you used and it includes the camera model.

Just my curiosity and irrelevant to the fact that it's a great picture.

    Dave

Interesting, haven't seen that on a Vbulletin message board before. Probably because I use the WYSIWYG editor.

    Thanks for the comments guys!
