  1. Totally worth it for my husband and myself! And plus I like knowing it's already payed for... no outrageous bar tabs at the end of our cruise! [emoji4]

    DITTO.

The last thing I want to worry about on the ship is a ballooning bar bill. That peace of mind makes the program worth it!

We usually leave the ship with under $100 on our s/s account

Bigger question: Where on board do I purchase the illusive $49 beverage??

  2. Maybe I should have changed the text to some neon color and a huge font, but even then, it is still not live, it is a recorded video

That would be helpful, thanks! lol I mistook your post for a pic, not a video. Just a click away from the truth.

My bad on saying live instead of video... anyway I posted in haste about the story. It's just crazy... must be a good story behind this one

  3. I like the option to take a nap right after eating lunch, so I need access to my room asap.

We are night owls, usually have a difficult time sleeping in the best of travel circumstances. Sure, we arrive the day before departure. However, after a day of arriving ungodly early to a packed airport, transferring at least once, usually twice, waiting for luggage... you'd think I would crash the night before. I am usually too pumped up, excited and not ready to sit after a day on airliners. Plus, I cant always count on making it there the day before; we have had delays that bring us in on a red eye the following morning (most of these experiences I have blocked from memory).

So, planning on boarding early usually means a gluttonous lunch and then finally passing out like a toddler to get a good rest before muster and sailaway.

  4. I am going on her April 29-May 6th and I CAN'T WAIT! I was on RCL Freedom May last year and I wanted my hubby to go on CCL this time around so he can see which one he likes better. I have been on Conquest a few years ago and liked it. I am not partial to one line over the other. My hubs might be though. But we will only do cruises when school is in and NOT on spring break or any other break.

We're on the same itinerary. I have also been on RCL Freedom, an on CCL Breeze 2 years ago. Apples and oranges....

I can't wait! It will be my first NOLA departure

  5. I managed to get the FTTF for my cruise in Sept. For me getting to my cabin early to drop off all carry on baggage and not standing in line on embarkation is worth it. Guest service lines are usually long also. I'm on vacation and the last thing I want to do is stand in line especially with a bad knee. For me, the benefits outweigh the cons.

    Amen!

One lengthy wait at Guest Services makes the option 'worth it'.

Of course, I have the patience of a 2 year old, so there's that... ;p

  6. Chill, you will have your luggage from the airline, no reason to carry it. BTW, if you do carry it, it must fit through the security scanners, so must be carry on size.

^^^^ THIS! It has to fit through the scanner.

We have twice purchased FTTF and had most of our luggage within a couple of hours. One of our bags was separated but we located it later.
