So now that you're back from your cruise - how did you like the Triumph?
-
We were on the Victory in 2006 - 7 days Canada/New England departing from New York City. Had a wonderful cruise. Would definitely recommend the itinerary.
-
I loved the Mexican Riveria. Puerto Vallarta was my favorite - make sure to zipline there.
I loved Cabo -although the sand is coarse.
Downtown Mazaltan arts district was another favorite.
Go for it.

Thanks for the link. Appreciate the feedback.

Thanks for the reply.
Where did the ship depart from? I am mostly interested in departure day and how much time you had and what the ship did to accommodate you. I love princess. Any pictures?

No one has gotten married on an Alaskian cruise?
Any ideas where to go for feedback?
-
Looking at Summer 2016 for a small (3 rooms max) cruise to Alaska. I've been to Alaska once and fell in love with it.
Wanting feedback on anyone who was married on a cruise to Alaska. What was your experience. We're not picky. Just want a vacation/wedding to remember.
Thanks

Hello,
Thinking of finding a spa in Key West - any recommendations.
We've been here before. Just wanting a relaxing day.
Thanks

In September of last year we took the ferry to Hamilton right after breakfast. Walked around Hamilton (we're not big shoppers) then took the taxi to the Coca Reef Resort.
I loved this resort. While the beach is not huge, its beautiful. Just sat in the lounge chairs and read. Enjoyed lunch and their pools. Took the taxi back around 5pm.
Enjoy your stay - wish I was going again this year.

Kings Wharf Segway
We had booked the Segway tour last year thru Shoretrips.com. A few days before departure we received an email stating they had to change our time - we weren't able to make the time change because of another shore excursion. Once on ship that shore excursion was canceled so we could have changed anyway. The way thing I noticed about Bermuda was that things are very limited so I would keep trying to make reservations. You'll love Bermuda. I'm missing the pink sand already.

Thanks for the link. Very helpful. I bet this was an awesome suite for Alaska.

I had to laugh at your experience. I've had it several times.
My favorite was a friend that I went on a 3 day all inclusive. Her favorite thing to do was set on the beach ALL DAY and argue with the vendors over prices. I'm telling you the truth ALL DAY and leave with nothing. Wouldn't go on any excursions because they cost money. I paid for the taxi into town one day. And when we got home had no money for gas for the 3 hour trip home from the airport.
Needless to say that was the last trip together.
And I'm addicted to solo travel.
Enjoy your cruise you have made the right decision.

Looking at June of next year. Thinking of the Royal Suite. (10 in total-this would take care of 5 of us, ages 5,6,10). Is the extra price really worth it? What's been your experience with this suite?

Most of the shade is when you first enter. There's a small café with sandwiches/ice cream. Also the chair and umbrella rental is in the same area. You may find some shade in the rocky area. I loved this beach.
-
Loved Horseshoe bay. The day we were there it was too windy for umbrellas. Have changing area. Food and drinks for purchase. My best memory - we were there for 3 hours and no one tried to sell us anything. So relaxing.
-
You can also buy stamps at a shop in Kings Wharf and mail them.
The post office in Hamilton will also stamp your passport.
-
-
There is a bus service that runs you from the bus stop down to horseshoe bay - I think its $2 one way - take advantage of that - will save you time.
This is a wonderful beach. You'll love Bermuda.
-
We visited Bermuda (Royal Caribbean Explorer) last September. An awesome place.
After shopping in Hamilton you might want to think about taking a taxi to Coral Reef Resort (about $12 one way). We're not big shoppers. We took the early morning (9am) ferry to Hamilton - walked around then went to the resort to relax for the afternoon.
You'll have a wonderful time in Bermuda.
-
Thanks for the reply. Taxi cost is that for 4 people? So if there's only two its $22?
-
29 SEP Explorer - Bermuda - I have always wanted to see the pink sand beaches.
-
So you took the ferry to Hamilton and then taxi? If so what was the taxi cost?
Thanks, I'm trying to put my days together.
-
Ok, will arrive around 10pm day prior to Explorer of the Seas sailing.
Anyone have a recommendation close to the airport?
Would I be better off going back to the airport to catch a shuttle to the pier?
Thanks

My cruise is 06December, I think the week after that was about the same. To get the on board credit you had to sail after Dec 1 2009. That promotion has expired.
Mariner is doing the Mexican Riveria from Los Angeles.

Thanks for the comparison. We are thinking of a September cruise on the Triumph.
What did you think of the condition of the ship.
